And if you have never smoked you are in no position to say what it's effects are.
good point.
...he wasen't admitting that he is addicted.
for some people, smoking actually helps them, almost like ridalin (sp) and people with ADD. I know for the first 2 or 2.5 years of hs i was always having problems concentrating, poor at taking tests, not very social, tended to keep things bottled up. half way into my jr. year i started to smoke a few times a week, more than the usual once a month or something like that. i started to notice that i could concentrate, not just in school, but at work and with other matters, my test grades started to improve as well. I also became more outgoing and open with friends and people in general. needless to say this past spring i graduated with a 3.5 gpa, the highest gpa that i've ever had. (it was usually around a 2.0)
now i'm not sitting here trying to tell you that its the greatest thing in the world, for some people pot can be bad, especially when they abuse it... but for most, it's an enjoyable experience. of the few negatives that weed has, they arn't bad... dry eyes, dry mouth, coughing, at the very worst nausea.... i can't remember where i saw it but marijuana has the lowest mortality rate when compared to other drugs, including alcohol and nicotine. this drug is not habit forming, and the bi products of it can be very useful. imo, people need to stop being so close minded, sit down and indulge one night, who knows, you might like it.
