Poll: Do you, did you, would you want to smoke weed?

I do every now and then. Maybe zero-four times a month. Maybe more with college starting. Runins life...bah I turned out all right

I have, but it wasn't a regular thing. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've done it, and it has been like 6 years since I have.

wow! i'm very surprised how many people here haven't tried weed or have no desire to! i'm very encouraged, because it seems like everyone and their mom smokes weed these days. i'm going to Arizona for college in 2 weeks, and i wasn't looking foward to haning w/ a bunch of stoned drunks..but maybe i'll be wrong

i have never tried it...but i cna't say that i don't have a desire to. i know i shouldn't though. i've never tried alchohol either.

When I was first offered a joint, I said, "That is just an ecsape, I have no need of an escape.. No Thanks"

Then a few years later, as I walked along side of the 1100' long, 87,000ton air craft carrier that was to be my home for the next 2yrs I thought... "I need an escape". I found the smokers, or I should say they found me and I smoked heavily for the next 2 yrs. In the 30yrs since then there have been times when I smoked and times when I did not. It certinally did not ruin my life, I have completed 2 degrees and had a long successfully professional career even with occsional puffs.

Currently I am not smoking, Though, if offered I would.

Once in a great, great while.. Last time was maybe 4 years ago or so. Even back then I would do it only once or twice a year, depending on who I was with at the time. Personally, I think it's quite enjoyable, and I believe it should be legal.

There's not much difference between it and alcohol, in my opinion. The buzz is a bit different, but not that much.

No..Yes..No..and it's not as harmless as once thought. If you have to use it don't smoke it. Products of combustion are as bad/worse then tobacco..loads of benzo pyrene and aromatics combustion products.

I'm not denying that undesirable substances are formed when you burn organic material; to do so would just be stupid.. however..

If it was really worse than tobacco.. lol...

Where are all the bodies? How many people does tobacco kill each day?

How many people does smoking cannabis kill every day?

I rest my case.

Edit: I remember reading somewhere the theory behind why smoking cannabis doesen't cause cancer, even though when burned it produces known carcinogenic substances... It was way over my head, but basically... another substance in the cannabis blocks that mutation from happening.. It said they may actually be able to create cancer fighting drugs some day with the plant's help.

Cannabis can be a nice drug to do once or twice a week..

but it can cause addiction in some.

I am glad I got my degree done before discovering cannabis - I would not have graduated had I smoked during my degree. Cannabis robs motivation.

It makes you curious, makes you think.. It's a mind expanding drug.

I would argue that it's a mind changing drug, not expanding. It has negative and positive effects.
