well this looks to be an interesting argument on the part of Kyle's lawyer

The main argument they'll make will be that the letter of the law allowed Rittenhouse to open carry a long barrelled rifle, as I pointed out previously, and this is shown when Pierce says "[the] charge is incorrect as a matter of state law." But they'll also argue, notwithstanding state law, Rittenhouse was invoking his 2nd amendment rights and is therefore innocent across multiple dimensions.

nope!! Sorry the 2nd amendment doesn`t allow murder!

They are welcome to argue that the second amendment protects the right of children to carry firearms but it will hilariously fail.

edit: aren’t you the guy who said the Supreme Court would invalidate the creation of DC as a state based on things you just made up? Not sure the US constitution is your strong suit.

So here Trump gave the ok for people to shoot protestors with paintballs. So the next time Trump supports are out en masse it's fine for counter protestors to snipe them with paintballs?

So let me get this straight - hitting statues with paint = 10 years in prison. Hitting people with paint? No problem.

Nearly 30 years old and still very relevant.

Its interesting watching the language of certain posters in this thread. When talking about the actions of black people and their supporters, its play stupid games, win stupid prizes, if you just don't break the law, you don't have anything to fear. When talking about the actions of violent white people, they are willing to take into consideration the context, the background, extenuating circumstances, and constantly give the benefit of the doubt and provide excuses. If you need evidence of the double standard and systematic racism faced by people of color in this country, just read this thread.

By "certain posters" you mean racists boot lickers?

It'd be a great example for a Sociology class.

More interesting will be IF the protests escalates after he leaves.
I expected there would be a decent crowd formed during the day today for the time he was in Kenosha...can only hope that either 1) it keeps a 'positive vibe' or 2) at least partly disperses by sundown.
There's obviously no logical reason for anyone to get MORE rowdy just because Trump showed up, but depending on what he says on the scene in whatever speaking he does...people might be salty.
It won't excuse aggression or destruction, of course. Can only hope it remains civil and they try to start setting a better example.
It sounded like things had really settled down considerably on the Wednesday after the shooting deaths, but I don't know how long-lived it was and how much it has picked back up in intensity there.

I'm just wondering due to Trump's usual tactics...he rarely can stay contained, especially if there's a crowd, then it's full on rally rectoric.
