How do you guys live in places where you can't even go outside during winter?
Nearly every place has some kind of tradeoff. It's not like it's 15 below for three months straight. Yesterday it was really pleasant and 45 degrees. In places where it's cold in the winter you typically have some pretty kick ass fall weather that easily some of the most enjoyable weather you could ever ask for and the mid spring to early summer are all great.
Contrast that to a place like Houston or a lot of the south where it's probably not too bad right now, but it's 100+ degrees and oppressively muggy for 3 months straight during the summer and you don't even want to step foot outside. Same problem, different end of the spectrum.
I honestly believe that 4 real seasons add balance and perspective to a person. You just sort of learn how to adapt and manage about anything mother nature throws at you.
