Chauncey drove to the basket much more than Kobe did. If Kobe's going to settle for outside J's, don't expect him to get to the line much.

btw, what the hell is up with a scrub bench player having a career on the Pistons, at least once per round??

Nets: Brian Scalabrine hits 4-4 from three point range and scores 17 points.
Indiana: Austin Croshere hits 3-4 from three point range and scores 15 points.
Lakers: Luke "Neanderthal" Walton has 8 assists, 2 blocked shots, and 5 rebounds.

jeez....anyways, Scalabrine and Croshere disappeared after their big performances and I fully expect Luke to do the same.

I'm rooting for the Pistons, but please stop with the crybabies. Anything can happen in the NBA. Lack of judgement to foul Shaq at the end of regulation. Kobe draining the 3-pt as a result. Those are nothing unusual. We've seen more impressive stuff like Fisher draining one with 0.4 sec left or go back to Reggie Miller scoring 8 pts with about 30 sec left to play.

no disrespect to hubie brown, but i honestly felt that jerry sloan deserved the COTY award. the grizzlies have had a stacked lineup for a few years and they just really underachieved until hubie brown came in. now what's more impressive, a coach that gets underachievers to play at their level? or a coach that takes absolute crap (withholding kirilenko) and makes them overachieve?

the grizzlies had a good year, but with that type of linup, it's easily expeted. the jazz on the other hand weren't even suppossed to win 15 games, yet they nearly made the playoffs.

I wouldn't call Walton a scrub. He won on the college level, his father won on the pro and college level. Its in his blood. Walton is a kind of player that the Lakers need...someone who is a threat from the outside but is mainly looking to give up the ball. He could be just as important as Rasheed is to the Pistons.

Really, he belongs on the Kings.
