It was nothing special? That was the shot which turned the game around!! Pistons knew they had lost it after Kobe SWISHED that 3 pointer into the net. THe pistons were all in Kobe's face, and he stepped 3 feet behind the arch, shot it, and SWISH. nothing but net.

It didn't turn the game around, it tied it. All in kobe's face? Are you fvcking blind? Hamilton backed off because he didn't want to foul him.
While I do hate the lakers, I also acknowledged, in that same post, the shot made my Derek Fisher. Therefore, BACK THE FVCK OFF, dipsh!t.
We'll see what happens after the 3 game stretch at Detroit. Don't get so excited just because your beloved Lakers atually won one of the games at home.

first off, i'd like to say that the pistons are a great team and i had a feeling they would make it to the finals. i wasn't sure the lakers would get past the spurs, but they did and now we've got a great series on our hands.
i just wish that there could be one thread where people weren't always bashing the lakers. lakers haters seem to be most abundant above all other teams for some strange reason. sure the lakers have won their share of championships, but what about the bulls? and the celtics?
it's understandable for rival teams to hate each other, but a lot of you haters just hate because you have nothing better to do, and that's just pathetic :roll:

intertesting how quiet it was when the Lakers lost game 1. now that they won game 2, all the confident Laker fans are back. lol
Pistons played like crap tonight. Credit to the Lakers for realizing they needed to play defense. Credit to Kobe for hitting a clutch shot. When you look back at the game, there was really poor shot selection in OT that cost us the game. Rip and Sheed shot rushed shots when we should have keep doing what got us in the game: post Sheed against Malone. remember, they almost blew a 12 point lead. i'm not worried at all at this point. we dominated the Lakers on their own floor in game 1. supposedly they tried in game 2 and still needed OT to win.
anyways, here the bottom line: series is tied 1-1. next three are at the Palace. Lakers are a poor road team, as i've said many times. Pistons only need to win 2 out of 3 at home. that would put them up 3-2 going back to L.A. they've proven they can beat L.A. at home. Pistons are still going to win this one and this thread will suddenly become quiet again :laugh:
btw....i'm glad the Lakers finally decided to "show up". if the Pistons would have won game 2, i would have had to heard how they didn't "show up" or hear Shaq butcher the word lackadasical.

Lakers HAD to win last night. If they didn't, the series would have been over. What sucks the most is that the Pistons had a chance to steal the victory. What's important, though, is that the Lakers DO NOT look invincible, and the fact that they needed a last minute prayer of a shot to win bodes well for the Pistons.

Ever since Pat Winely patented THREE PEAT I have not been able to put up with their attitudes. Shaq pretends he is not protected more than anyone in the league, and Kobe knows they both are. The fact that Shaq doesn't foul out of every game he plays in is still and always will be BS. The Lakers are a team of cry babies and Payton is a perfect fit for their team. Malone is the worlds biggest Cheapshotting, Flopper that has ever played in the NBA.....

Laker hatred on the loose. On hell of a game I almost thought lakers lost and Kobe comes up with the blinder. On more thing I don't like is Lakers like to dig a hole and come out of it. They make a mess and then get out of it. They should have beat the crap out of detriot in the first place. Overtime goshh that sucks. Anyway Luke had a gr8 game.
