Losers. Messed up. Naw buddy i have great grades, and yes i getted f'up constanlty. I have an amazing job that would cream on whatever the hell you do and have a good looking gf. I do give a sh*t about the world just not something as lame as this. Its just that I have better things to do and worry about than whatever some kid is doing especially at my age. I've done that. I've talked to him via email (since that is how he makes contact with most people he does this for). Words were exchanged and finally I told him that I would turn him in. He said I should do that. Of course this is the abridged version, but that's essentially what was said.

I'll be the first to say that I haven't followed every law to the letter but I sure as hell don't have a problem with this guy turning in someone who's selling the pirated games. Enough of the wink wink, nudge nudge crap. Grow some balls and accept what you've set up for yourself. You litter, you accept that you can get caught and fined. This is far from a "Let he without sin cast the first stone". Rather, it's about collusion. We need not be an uber-paranoid society, turning in our family for thoughtcrime.

Im sure you'll say none. How about your friends? Shouldn't you turn them in to? Because they are stealing from people also. Your miniscule brain does not seem to comprehend the similarities between downloading music and selling pirated games. Sure it's wrong, but do you need to turn everyone in that you know is doing it? No, you do not.

By downloading, you're mearly stealing. In the other, you're profiting from another entity's work. An example would be if a friend would steal $20 from you every week. You knew it, but you decided that he needed it more than you and you let it slide. Then lets say that your friend was putting that money into the stock market and made $1,000,000. After making all that money, he just took off to some other country and never said another word to you.
In this case, it was ok for him to take $20. But you would get pretty ticked off if he made all that money and left you high and dry. That is the difference.
