15" Monitor, mouse pad and 5 yr old printer. And coffee stains on the keyboard and mouse, a pc isn't a pc without those.

I find it amusing that my in-laws have an HP K6-450, citing the fact that they paid a lot for it when they bought it whenever I suggest a new one. The thing feels slower than my P-200 was.

Hey, I've still got 2 people here using a P-75 machine with 64mb Ram, 2GB HDD, and running NT 4.0.

Those computers have probably been touched about 10 times in the last 7 years, which is why I can't justify a replacement. I'm thinking that it's about time, though, just out of pity.

There are a lot of people out there who like old computers and see no need to upgrade the one they have. There are some collage professors who still use there original 8086 or 80286 for word processing and nothing else. They enjoy them and don't want to get rid of them.

Well, a 286 does run WordPerfect 5.1 quite handily, and that's what I prefer to do all my prose in.
