Supposedly the json is released on Wednesday. Not much time for the pob team to get the major changes implemented.

Blasphemy
Well, I WANT to play, but it doesn't really serve me much purpose to rush into it either. I took a new gem build last league and it sucked, so I at least want some dust to settle before I jump into this league and make the same mistake.
Have you thought about picking an Ascendancy and just leveling a safe easy skill then switching after you get through some maps? What most people call a league starter. That way your in at league start and are making currency to go towards whatever you pick.
I'm an expert status enabler. I even have a badge.
I think I will take your advice. I haven't played Marauder in I dunno how long... like years and years. I likely will start up one of those and go from there. I gotta find one of my "easy play" builds though![]()
oh
You like totems. You could do a Chieftain ancestral warchief build. They're a build that's easy to start and scales well plus you're familiar with totem builds.
oh
my
god
its like a new tree altogether. those masteries...its like you have to plan your build around getting multiple clusters of the same mastery to pick the passives you need.
RIP trickster. he got the shaft big time.
there were also new totems introduced last league with slam skills. tactonic totems maybe an option.
Funny you mention that. I was browsing through marauder totem builds this morning after the suggestion and saw Tectonic Slam build. Seems like something different at least...
there are more damage types than Elemental...physical, chaos...I know for sure I want to try out a spellcaster build. So I think I'll just start a witch and see where it goes. Back in Ult. I just winged it and the build wasn't that great but I had fun building it out. Last league I went for a meta build that did a lot better but it wasn't as much fun since I was just filling out the build. This time I think I'll start off with my own crappy build and see what I can do at the end to push it a bit further.
For spells is it just best to focus on one type of damage or use fire for AOE and lightning for single target?

I threw my Lvl 92 bleed bow gladiator from 3.14 into the 3.16 POB. The results were BAD. Bleed bow got hammered. In addition to a few notables being removed from the tree there has been enough shuffling of the tree that the Thread of Hope and Lioneye's Watch jewels don't hit their targets any more. Bow masteries are TERRIBLE for bleed bow and completely worthless. Even with several awakened support gems and pretty ok gear I can't get this build to be viable.there are more damage types than Elemental...physical, chaos...
bleed bow champion isnt bad for league start, it requires 1 mandatory item which usually runs 10-20c, and a big fckn bow, and you get your primary skill at lvl 1.
bane/soulrend/hexblast is also fun, but less starter friendly and endgame equipment is super expensive.
you can never go wrong with cyclone slayer (cold or trinity) or champion (impales) if you like the playstyle.
and zombies never die, so necromancer with multistrike-impale-brutality zombies.
This league I'm pretty set on going Elementalist. Probably Ranger next time.there are more damage types than Elemental...physical, chaos...
