I've been putting an effort into leveling faster this league and one of the things I wanted to do was work on a leveling filter. In the past I would just run Neversink's normal filter and then switch to semi-strict with some changes once I hit maps. After I got most of my gear I would go to a strict filter with some changes and that would be it.
I found a good video where Neversink explains setting up a leveling filter and using the simulate tool to make sure things are appearing the way you want. I thought others may find this useful as well.

I never really messed around with the filters - just using Neversinks and adjusting it's strictness as I levered up. I *might* tweak a few things here or there along the way, but that's much more the exception rather than the rule. I never thought about tweaking it specifically for the build I was running. I have to say I see drops more as "currency" than usable items. I pick up almost every type of orb - even late game. And cash in gear for shards etc. It's tedious, and likely stupid, but it's the way I've always done it I guess.
