That's a HUGE life saver.
I guess that explains how when I'm partying with 4+ other people they can pick the piles clean in milliseconds.

Lol.... don't feel bad, I just got introduced to Neversink in the last 4 days.
It makes running maps + farming so much quicker.
I love the noises it makes as well when something drops... :biggrin:

Zana is the master that spawns a map-within-a-map. Get her to level 3 so you can invite her to your hideout and you essentially get a free map daily by doing her daily. Sometimes it even gives unique maps... like the Poorjoy's Asylum it wanted me to do yesterday. I got on a character who had just leveled up to try it because why not, but Poorjoy's is SUPER NOPE.

WHITE mobs oneshot you in that hellhole. With 5000HP. And mobs have massive HP too so you can't even kill them before they reach you unless you're a crazy build (aka my mjolner couldn't do it, idk wtf kind of damage it takes to do).

Honestly though, I play for fun and that most certainly does not sound like fun.

Will probably be shit drops, but worth the fun I guess.
Will load up on +rarity items before I go in too.

Don't be too scared of PoorJoy's. The first time you try it you will probably die because the damage is more similar to a level 80 map than a level 73. But if you're level 80+ with ranged DPS you should be fine. Melee, you'll have to be on top of your mitigation whatever you're using... Melee is going to have a hard time no matter the level.

Don't be too scared of PoorJoy's. The first time you try it you will probably die because the damage is more similar to a level 80 map than a level 73. But if you're level 80+ with ranged DPS you should be fine. Melee, you'll have to be on top of your mitigation whatever you're using... Melee is going to have a hard time no matter the level.

It's not so much "scared" as "this is the fourth time I've had Zana give me Poorjoy's, it's completely impossible for any of my characters because I'm nowhere rich enough for the GG gear it requires to clear this hellhole".

Well this was a yawn. 1 unique. Barely no rares. Few orbs. And there WERE monsters to fight -- just a few, but caught me TOTALLY off guard as I had all my equipment and spells messed up for higher level rarity chance items.

forgot to mention that unless GGG fixed it, exiles can potentially spawn in the map

how do I use neversinks loot filter? Is it a separate download or something you enable in the game? I'm at work and can't search gaming sites.

if you google neversink loot filter the first page provides a link to the filter. You just need to cut and paste into a text document in your user\username\my documents\my games\path of exile directory with the .filter extension. Once the file is there the loot filter drop down will appear in the in game options menu.

I'll say that using this loot filter was pretty a HUGE change in the experience of the game. Getting through loot was just soooooo much more incredibly easy.

And it's pretty damn awesome hearing the "good drop" sound come from offscreen after you drop some totems and walk away.

Wish I had spotted this before. Rarity doesn't work on chests, only mob drops.

Also, I believe the value of these maps actually has gone up since 2.0, as you can find the card that for Acuity in it.

I went from level 1 to level 27 on my Marauder yesterday.
Having Neversink is soooo much nicer for looting, especially the noise
for each good drop.
A couple levels from Cyclone
I forgot I had Slitherpinch gloves from my other toons on standard
so promptly equipped them.
Should be a fun character once I get up in levels :biggrin:

Edit.... I am excited to use my Item Quantity gem I had from pre 2.0 for my Marauder. (once I am high enough in level)

Yes 1 month.

I don't see why not to play the league? Play it for a month then that toon roles over. The only reason not to play is to just grind in standard.

I'll be rolling a crit tornado ranger for this league.

depends on how much you play and your leveling speed

pretty sure people can level to 27 in less than 2 hours

Honestly, the best reason to play new leagues IMO is that it's a great way to build wealth in standard - you can set up a shop and sell mediocre rares for several alts to one chaos early in any new league, income that you would never get in standard.

Requires nolifing the first several days though.
