So where did all of these weaklink, fragile kids come from? I don't remember seeing any 50 years ago when I started school.
How do people come up with idiodic crap like this?
It reminds me of BS like not keeping score, so that there are no "losers".
I am even dumbfounded whe I see hordes of "grief counselors" decend on a school when a student dies. I knew several students who died during the time I was in school. All of us found a way to deal with it on our own; and it worked out fine.
Does anybody here think they can justify this sense that kids are such candyasses today?
Parents objected. Red writing, they said, was ?stressful.? The principal said teachers were just giving constructive advice and the color of ink used to convey that message should not matter. But some parents could not let it go.
In many other schools, it?s black and white when it comes to red. The color has become so symbolic of negativity that some principals and teachers will not touch it.
