Hmm I wonder if I did a search for "water the tree of liberty" in the politics and news sub forum what I would find :sneaky:
How did you feel when Reagan faced an assassin?
you clearly didn't since you continued with your emotional whining. Meh, hopefully you'll grow up someday and realize that just because the media is covering it like it's "national" doesn't mean it really is.
Chill out dude, ease off your rhetoric and vitriol. I expect a round of applause when the President comes out on stage and all the proper respects, but what's the deal with people cheering throughout the ceremony? And at the end after he was offering condolences? It was a little weird.
How come we never saw that term used when Bush was President? Our President, our duly elected leader, is rising to the occasion and adessing every one of us with dignity and quiet, inclusive, healing eloquence.

It is indeed a national tragedy because of the federal officials killed (judge, congresswomen), the venue itself (townhall itself exemplifies perfectly American democracy and 1st amendment) and the fact that innocent bystanders, especially a 9 year old girl, were killed.
Bottom line, you're a tard if you don't understand why it's a national tragedy.

I agree, it's a national tragedy, well put.It is indeed a national tragedy because of the federal officials killed (judge, congresswomen), the venue itself (townhall itself exemplifies perfectly American democracy and 1st amendment) and the fact that innocent bystanders, especially a 9 year old girl, were killed.

I was 4. He was also the President of the United States. A Congressman/woman is a rep of a section of a state. Just because they go to DC does not mean that it's a "national tragedy" if something happens. Yes, it sucks(I have to repeat this since you people don't seem to get it), it's sad, etc etc. Sheesh.

lol, yep - then bring on the "national healing" then... messiah BHO will bring it to us all!!! 🙄 Nice narrative and all that but this doesn't affect anyone outside of those in the immediate circle of people there. If you feel it affected you - please do share how this was a tragedy for YOU. No, not that you feel it's tragic - share how it directly impacts you, your life, etc.

What's your opinion of the JFK assassination?
I remember you to be a big proponent of BDS. Well, sir, you are blinded by your ODS.
Really now??Well, he wasn't duly elected. Gore won the election.
Nope, just rational. 🙂
The Democrats are trying to exploit this tragedy to get the GOP to tone down their message because they know its working.
LOL - I love how he says it isn't about politics but then we have to come together and stop partisanship (IE Politics).
Any mention of politics surrounding this event is sickening.

why? I wasn't born. It was a national tragedy due to the fact that he was the President of the United States.
lol, ah yes, the typical liberal response to logic and rationality.
The only people I see making this political are people who think like you. Republicans aren't the problem. Democrats aren't the problem. People like YOU are the problem. Everything you've ever posted on this board has been filled with partisanship and laced with hatred. So I'm going to be nice and simply respectfully ask you to shut up.
