As was I. ;)

Frankly, I'm happy the President went to speak. I'm happy when our leaders stand up and do what we elect them to do: lead. Leadership is something a startling number of politicians and pundits have failed to display over the past few days.

The presidency is about more than what is explicitly laid out in the Constitution. The job is not always about signing laws, executive orders, and enforcing laws. The President and his chosen VP are our only nationally elected representatives. The President is the figurative "head" of our country, chosen by the people of this country to represent all of us. When our democracy is attacked, by either foreign or domestic forces, then it is our President's job to repel them or in cases such as this demonstrate an ability to transcend partisanship in order to promote national healing.

That's why I don't care about the penny it cost me to fly him out there.

Asking you a question makes your point? Try again junior. Please answer my question as I've answered 2 of yours and now want to know what you think your point is since you trotted out yet a third question along the same lines.

Answer mine.

Ah, and here is the problem. Clearly I must accept the liberal's declaration and/or the media's declaration or I'm some heartless right winger(which is the narrative of the left anyway).

Clearly I'm not "enlightened" enough to see the pain of the nation over this...

Wow, thought you had more guts then that. Ok, I'll do it. National tradegies are defined by the people in this country. If enough people think an event qualifies then it is. I was 15 when Ronald Reagan was shot. It was considered a national tragedy at the time. I didn't like him. For me personally it wasn't but I wouldn't begrudge anyone else the term.

This is why you shouldnt debate with that retard. I'm passively following this thread and he doesnt even read everything directed at him.

Debating? Sir, there's no debating at this point....:D It's just boredom with a person that doesn't find 9-11 to be a national tragedy...

OK, so if the people get to define it, why are people who are of the same opinion as I on this branded and ridiculed as heartless and soul-less or "small minded asshole"?

get it yet? ;)

I don't know. what does give? Columbine? Not really other than the shock of it being a school rampage which gets people all scared. I will not answer the second part until uber answers mine since he asked the same thing.

And how is that any different from what happen? A politician was nearly killed and everyone else that was unlucky enough to be in the way, even if they were Republican got wounded or killed. It scares people, same thing with Columbine. Clinton did the same thing Obama did, it's to be expected. Calling it a "political play" is borderline evil.

Because you said you don't respect anyone whom holds a differing opinion and they're a moron.

EDIT

- Your first post, you tell everyone this isn't a national tragedy.

There really haven't been many others with such a crass and socially retarded outlook as yours, so we haven't had a chance to ridicule them.
