Or house building .... where texas had an extreme shortage last time trump was in office. I had a friend who's sister was a big maga fan cause she blamed immigrants for all her problems. Alas he also said but she doesn't want any of their jobs.... many MAGA supporters are in a nut shell lazy sob.

When are people going to wake up and realize this has nothing to do with immigration, but everything to do with attacking blue states. If it was truely about immigration, Texas would be in the news for ICE going after 80% of their construction work force, or all those working in their fields, and Trump wouldn't have made an exeptions for specific workers. Yet nearly all of the news on ICE and their immigration raids, are blue states only.

I think there are two components 1) the stuff ICE is doing in cities for attention 2) increasing workplace raids in even red states where they can net a decent chunk of people. That meat plant is in Nebraska.

And this is what I found. Most meat packing/processing plants are in red states.

"The top five meatpacking states, by number of workers, are Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, Kansas, and Illinois. The top five poultry processing states, by number of workers, are Georgia, Arkansas, North Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi.Sep 24, 2020"

Omaha Nebraska is a democrat leaning city (blue), and described as a blue dot in a red state. So, the question is: is this raid for optics so they can claim "see we are going after red states too". Again, why are we not seeing Texas in the spot light when 80% of thier construction work force, according to statements made since the election, (googled stats says it's 23%), are made up of undocumented immgrants? According to those same stats, we have about 12 Million undocumented immigrants in the US, with 1.2 million of them in Texas, which is 10% of them in one Red state. So why are we not hearing anything about such raids there? Now, it is entirelly possible that the media is chosing not to report on such raids, but it's unlikely that every media outlet across the country would do so.

My son and I were talking about this because of them pulling embassy staff in the general area.

He said it didn’t look like the Pentagon was super involved with anything as the (according to the interwebs) local pizza places were not busy but the local gay bars were. Should be the opposite if they were planning a strike.
 
The good thing about ICE is that when you send all the immigrants away, there will be fewer of you, you children and grandchildren to share decades of accumulated wealth by government. Oh, it's debt not wealth you have accumulated...
