If were are going by favorably where metrics are available for both Trump and Biden is about 5 points more favorable than Biden presently.
We're still getting tied head to heads in the national polls on RVs though despite this so approval and favorability metrics appear less informative about the actual decisions the electorate is making so far in this cycle.

Think it's a bit too late to act like we have a choice.. we're all in on Biden unless he croaks.
Anything else is like a Hildabeast out like a sack of potatoes on 9/11 moment but we stick with the candidate for scotus and everything.
I personally would have liked to see a primary.. I actually liked Gretchen Whitmer but we can't have nice things apparently!

If this is so simple ask the RNC why they are not just picking a much more electable candidate.
The only thing I can see from that is total votes are less than half of the 2020 votes. Does that mean over half the voters were unhappy with any of the candidates? There are no debates, so all they can go on are what they see on the news / hear from others. I've heard gossip about Biden becoming the next Feinstein.
Who is treating him that way?

Biden did 79K votes in NH as a write in. Obama only got 49K votes in 2012 and he was on the ballot.
SC did not have a primary in 2012.
Thats what happens in a contested vs. uncontested primary. Look at Obama’s totals in 2012 vs. 2008.
Obama got fewer than half the votes he got in 2008 and overall Democratic turnout was down 75%. Obama is doomed!
I disagree, if (and, to be clear, _only_ if), as the poster claims, they are in a situation where the voting system means their vote has no chance of having any effect. What's the point in voting for Biden if your vote cannot possibly make any difference to the outcome? Could well be more usefully-employed giving encouragement to someone else.

This is what I keep telling people and they won’t listen. The reason Biden didn’t have primary challengers is because they knew they would lose. This isn’t complicated.
