I wish the world had ended on the 13th.

Would have prevented all the drinking on the 14th and the horrible hangover on the 15th.

(I'm all better now. Thanks for the concerne) :)

Anyone know approximately what time on the appointed day the world is going to end? EST daylight savings time here.

Finally. I don't even have to worry about going to hell for killing myself. Once again, Jesus to the rescue.

Well, for it to happen on May 21st all over the world, it would have to occur at exactly noon GMT

So, 7:00:00 am EST

Though if it's 24:00:00 on the international dateline, does that mean it's May 22nd?

Or (assuming the concept of timezones is expanded to be continuous across the Earth's surface) is the Lebesgue measure of earth's surface 0 for any specific time (or countable times)? I suppose that would mean that it's never any specific time anywhere, since the planck length would cover an infinite number of Real times. So you'd only be able to give an interval of time that a location covers....

Shit, someone go get a topologist in here....

Don't know, but the world's population gets raptured in slices, according to time zones, pretty much the same way it would have ended in Y2K. :D

Thanks for reminding me. I'm about to leave so I'll catch him on the car radio. I have to set my alarm or something so I don't miss dying.

LOL, they keep putting the date further out. Isn't this the same site that said "the end" was May 11?

So if you travel from the +12 to the -12 timezone just after they had the rapture in that first timezone you're safe? ;)

The thought is that it starts at sunrise in Jerusalem 5/21 then travels around the earth for the next 24 hours. You get picked or not at sunrise, but that was just Camping's guess.

Someone should call him and ask where he's going to spend his last day. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of folks wanting to know where to find him :D

First howling in disbelieve at the thought of being left behind, then on the forums making up a new date when he notices nothing happened worldwide.

Edit: Oh, where he spends his 'last' day in general, not when he discovers it's nonsense ;)

What does it do when it gets to the Arizona border? I guess it stops and waits the required hour before taking all of them Arizonians off to their salvation.

I think it's funny that this guy predicting the end is still planning on broadcasting his weekly show on Sunday.

What if May 21 ends and nothing occurs?
The Biblical evidence is too overwhelming and specific to be wrong. Christ's people can look with great confidence to this date because God promises His "beloved" He will not come upon them as a thief in the night.
God in His mercy has revealed the vital information needed to know the day. Judgment Day on May 21, 2011 will occur because the bible declares it. Anyone whom God has not saved will arrive at that day with no hope for salvation. God warns simply the "door will be shut."
The Bible has led us to May 21, 2011
This date is not the product of the mind of one man or a group of men.
It is the culmination of study of the entire Bible, both the Old and New Testaments.
Every word written in the original Biblical "autographs" were dictated by God, therefore all words, numbers and sentences in these original writings are to be trusted as coming from God.
The fact that this date is the result of the synthesis of all of Scripture causes May 21st, 2011 to take on very sobering factuality. It is no longer opinion, but a matter of fact.
May 21, 2011 is God's date. All other predictions are man's attempt to predict the end. So it becomes a matter of eternal life, or eternal death. One can no longer presume May 21st of this year will be just another normal day.
Each person must come to entrust their lives to what God has written in His Word the Bible and plead to Him for mercy. Otherwise God will come upon them with unmerciful vengeance on May 21, 2011.
I'm just leaving this here because it will be AWESOME to see how he backtracks out of it.

Last day on earth. Repent heathens!

Meh, you just have to be a born again to live. That just requires saying
"Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name I repent of my sins and open my heart to let Jesus come inside of me.
Jesus, You are my Lord and Savior. I believe you died for my sins and you were raised from the dead.
Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank You Father for saving me in Jesus' name. Amen."
And viola, you're saved! As a bonus, you never have to do it again, you're always saved!

sweet deal. However signing a blood pact with Satan probably negates this right?
