TRANSCRIPT FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
Camping- I'm in shock; I'm totally bewildered. I'm- I'm totally bewildered. And I- I'm ... I- I- I'm ... I have no answers. I have no answers.

Reporter- And do you think people will be showing up to church?

Camping- I'm sorry?

Reporter- Do you think people will be showing up to church down the street?

Camping- I hope not. I hope not. They were told- they all know that we don't have a- that we weren't having a meeting today. Believe you me, I'm very bewildered. So please, I- I don't want to talk to any reporters today.

Should I feel sorry for him? (He sounded like he really believed in it.)
Or is he just a good actor/scammer?

Harold Camping inside the Family Radio compound in Oakland. His previous Judgement Day prediction in 1994 proved false.

Oh he believes it alright. He has a station in my area and I've listened to his train wreck, er, radio show a little bit at a time for a while now. He lives in a modest home and has a modest lifestyle. The $$$$$$$ you read about went into radio stations or advertising. He's insane, but he's honestly crazy.
