i figured they sing 'take me out to the ball game' after 'God Bless America'. 'take me out' is never shown during the regular season, so i figured the same logic applies here. anyone been to a post-season game this season that could shed some more light on the subject? preferably someone who stuck around until at least the 8th?

I'm guessing singing God Bless America only came about after 9/11. And what's with the eagle flying around?

Might have been a nice gesture in the days and weeks right after 9/11 but now it's just maudlin.

Third time he has struck out tonight. Worst at bat of the night. Even worse than Soriano's swings this postseason.

Marlins are definately not swinging the bat the same way they did against the Giants or the Cubs. I understand its the Yanks but one thing is swinging and one thing is looking and so far they have looked at more Yankee pitches than swinging at em. They just haven't been as aggresive.

Definately looks like another rain delay is coming.
