Here's my 290. Edit: Looks like this was from a run with my current overclock. Just now noticed the speeds in the top left corner.

Update, flashed to a 290x, with stock 290x clocks it gets a slightly higher score. Will continue to check it out at OC settings. Score: 1342

Edit: @1050/1275 I get 1365.

Not run with my highest clocks, but decided to benchmark Heaven just for the sake of comparison since no 760, nor 760 SLI, was on the list.

Specs in sig, with my 760 SLI run @ 1267/7000. My best clocks are 1293/7600, but this will do for now.

Gigabyte Reference AMD Radeon R9 290X with OEM Cooling.

1135 MHz GPU / 1320Mhz vRam CCC Setup as follows:

12% - 13.5% - 5.6% - 90C - 100%

Waiting for a Voltage Tweaker and have an Arctic Accelero Xtreme III on hand.

----------------------------------
i7 2700k/ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Gen3/Corsair H110 AIO (running @ .996v/1600Mhz to 1.376v/4600Mhz 24/7 between 36 to 67C), 4 x's 4GB sticks of Samsung MV-3V4G3D-US DDR3 running at 1.34v/1866Mhz 9-9-9-24 1T with 4GB's assigned to a RAMDisk drive to handle Win7 64 Bit Sluff and negate writes to the SSD, Samsung 840 Pro 256 SSD, 2 x's WD5001AALS HDD's in Raid-0, 1 x's WD1002FAEX 1TB, ASUS DRW-24B1ST DVDRW, Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1250 PCIe, 2nd Intel NIC for Dual Networking, XFX 850W Pro Black Black Edition modular PSU, AMD Ref Gigabyte 1000Mhz R9 290X/Accelero Xtreme III, eVGA GTX 280 in reserve for Physic's-X support, Fractal Design ARC Midi R2 case, QX2510 Samsung PLS 2560x1440 res display at 120Hz.

TOTAL Investment on this Platform including 13% HST Tax Plus Shipping is approx $2,534.00 spent over a period of a year.

Aside from Mfgr's 10 to 15% price markup selling to the CDN Market the killer is the 13% HST Tax and cost of shipping in Canada. I pd $3000 for a 386-40 DX in 1994 - LOL.

Card is an AMD Reference GIGABYTE GV-R929XD5-4GD-B Radeon R9 290X.

Using MSI Afterburner 300b17 with +100mv after 1173-1500 I was seeing artifacts and clearly running out of voltage. Increasing the Elpdia Ram above above 1500 hurt the Bench but very solid at 1500Mhz

Seems to me, disregarding the Safe Zone, the Ref R9 290X could do with another 35mv's to make a solid 1200-1500 clock.

MSI Afterburner shames CCC AMD Overdrive OC'g software.

Guess I'm about done playing with the Reference Design Cooler and will be mounting the Arctic Accelero Xtreme III and see about obtaining another 35mv's.

11060648366_e1db7c3e79_b.jpg

1170 x 1500 Mhz's - PERFECT No Artifacts

11060654586_f7b9226856_b.jpg

1200 x 1500 Mhz's - Minor Artifacts (Could do with a tad more Voltage)

Apparently there's a +.132 to +.141mv boost using an ASUS R9290X-4GD5 BIOS and ASUS GPUTweak 2.4.9.2. Reports are 1265 Mhz GPU and 1600 Mhz Memory Clocks - Humm - Can't seem to find the ASUS R9290X-4GD5 BIOS firmware or flashing Utility Online but do we need it?

gtx 770 sli@ 1176MHz + 1130MHz +- 10MHz
mem 1753MHz
second card runs into thermal throttling at temp target 85°C, goes up and down then around 1130MHz

its not a real screenshot, as the heavenscreeshots in the proper file, taken with f12 cannot be opened, don´t know why, it works with valley

result should be consistent enough with what others have posted to be believeble

work-in-progress OC of my reference cooled ZOTAC GTX680: (bench settings as per this thread)
stock (1007/1500): 900 points (60*C max)
+100 Core, +200 Mem: 970 points. (63*C max)

the Unigine benchmark reports clocks in the top right corner which are different than what i see in Afterburner so i'm not sure what clocks it's actually running at with dynamic boost and all. Unigine says 1302Mhz and MSI says 1107Mhz.

did a new run,
seems to be pretty much it, second run crashed
higher offset crashed

got the screenshot opened with gimp

too bad its not 2000+ or 80+ :( close one

still happy though

1228MHz first card
~1201MHz second card, thermal throttle at 94°C temp target
3800MHz mem
cpu 3700MHz on all cores

second system
dKXFEwi.png

r9 270x @ gpu1100MHz mem1500MHz
fx8350 @ 4500MHz

more than this results in a RED screen of death
it´s reproduceable
never seen that before, also bad noise during the freeze, like all kinds of frequencies being output simultaniously
unhealthy sounding kakophony, ctrl alt delete won´t work, only reset

Installed my Gigabyte 780ti oc on my trusty old i7-860 rig. Stock clocks are 1020, boost 1080 but it never went below 1150 according to afterburner.
