There's more to it than paper and legal precedent. I'm not convinced that shenanigans didn't get Trump elected in November. Republicans planned and engaged in election interference, voter intimidation, anything they could think of to give them advantages.

I anticipate 2026 and 2028 elections. I doubt Republicans can stop those from happening absent something like a complete breakdown of our society.
