Official Trump second term prediction thread

All the Trump supporters and detractors use your common sense and intelligence to predict events that will occur during Trump's second term.

I'll start

Trump's first lie will occur within 1 week of taking office. Includes him or administration representative.

Within 6 months he will attempt to implement a part of P2025. That document he disavowed and said is not part of his agenda.

Within 1 year a member of his administration will be under investigation for wrongdoing.

If any investigation of Trump hits too close to home that person will be fired.

Within 6 months he will violate federal law.

Inflation at the end of Trump's first year will be higher than it was when taking office. Currently 2%

At the end of Trump's first year the price of eggs will be close to the same.

Trump's first lie will be when he recites the oath of office.
Hmmm...could he be charged with perjury?

Within 6 months he will make up bogus allegations against one of his perceived enemies and have them investigated and/ or charged.

6 months to start implementing project 2025? There is a bunch of it slated to be enacted on day 1 and a whole lot more for the first 90 days.

Trump and the Republicans will go after Social Security and Medicare. If I wasn’t retired and depend on both, I’d laugh at his supporters who will lose their livelihoods…but, sadly, it will hit me just as hard.

He’ll take credit for Biden’s economy.

Other than that it’ll be a race of righties to get favor with Trump to implement their policies (such as project 2025).

I expect tariffs and immigration enforcement to be the other priorities. What happens next is dependent on how bad those two policies are.

They'll find a way to pin it on the democrats for sure.

There are experts on immigration saying that it’s simply impossible from a logistical or legal standpoint for Trump to achieve anywhere near the kind of grandiose promises he made to get elected on deportations. These aren’t problems that be handwaved away. The Supreme Court has long said that before individuals are deported, they’re entitled to a full and fair hearing. That means a hearing before an immigration judge where they can support defenses to deportation. The problem is those courts are tremendously backlogged. Congress has never really funded the courts to keep up with the volume. The first Trump administration's numbers were below those of the Obama administration when it came to deportations. Now he can have jack booted thugs run around and throw suspected "illegal immigrants" in black vans and dump them over the border, but really? I don't think so. He will need to push the envelope to try through executive orders and other regulations and things like that to strip migrants of their rights of due process. There is just zero chance he can get anywhere close to where he wants to go, unless he pushes the envelope on due process to its absolute bare minimum. We'll see how it plays out

The first Trump admin was full of infighting, conflicting egos, power struggles, scattershot policy changes, legal squabbles, general incompetence, constant turnover, and Trump’s complete inability to stay focused. There’s absolutely no reason to believe that this time he’ll surrounded himself with hyper-competent people who will be laser-focused and 100% dedicated to carrying out his every decree.

To anyone saying "Trump can't do that" I simply say,

You lack imagination.

His first lie will be while holding his hand on a bible and swearing to uphold the Constitution.

His acceptance ramble, err I mean speech will have at least 20 more lies.

MAGA wants a war with Mexico.
Maybe they'll get one?
Hard to say how far anyone truly wants to push it. But like North Koreans, they sure spent a lot of time talking smack in that direction.

I thought about making this thread ... But as a bingo-card variant... and track members cards in the OP under the "card".

Within 1 year a member of his administration will be under investigation for wrongdoing.
- Investigated by what entity? There is none. Nope.

If any investigation of Trump hits too close to home that person will be fired.
- Nah

Within 6 months he will violate federal law.
- Likely.

Inflation at the end of Trump's first year will be higher than it was when taking office. Currently 2%

At the end of Trump's first year the price of eggs will be close to the same.

Once they get started and people realize it's for real a lot will simply flee the country with all their assets. You don't need to stick 15M people in camps if you can scare most of them out of the country. The economic carnage however will still be biblical.

OR there is the use case for NOT stuffing them in concentration camps. Like Trump shutting down the border bill right?

You need those scare immigrants to win elections.

The scary part is when/if Trump steps down and the real vampires take the helm.

I think you take whatever your worst guess is, and then use that as the best case baseline. He's going in even more unhinged and with nothing but enablers around him.

I predict that Liberals and Conservatives will continue to blame each other and few will gain psychological understanding that can come only by self understanding.

I just want conservatives to answer a few simple questions. Can’t get straight answers here.

I have a friend who is a Trump voter who reached out to talk to me. She said her own daughter is upset with her

I will have the chance this Wed to air my feelings/questions.

Will report back with a summary
