Agree on that point. The car looks a lot to me like the Z as well. I just wish that the car would compete closer in power to the Z.
it's a lot prettier than the Z. 370Z is way overstyled. 350Z was much prettier.

Definitely. I'd rather get a base 370Z.
43% more power, less weight, and RWD.
was just looking at the torque numbers not HP. also, how is 200/160 is 43% more hp?
I guess that's something that we will have to disagree on. To me, the 350z looks like a fat blob. The G35 was a much more attractive car IMO. However, I find that 370z much more aggressive and modern while the G37 looks a little feminine in non-IPL trim.
What exactly does your roughly $24,000 get you on a 2013 BRZ Premium? A Torsen limited-slip differential, 17-inch alloy wheels, tilt-telescope leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather shift knob and handbrake, a six-speed manual transmission, aluminum pedal pads, an eight-speaker sound system, and standard Navigation.
why do people like this, it's only 200hp. If it were 250 this would be more special IMO.

Uhh.. that makes is tempting. Holy.
It's pretty weak on power. Should be an Asian kids wet dream though.
People keep on saying this yet the Miata/MX-5 has quite a bit less power, is only a tiny bit lighter, and is still is an absolute blast to drive.
Yes, but the Miata is relatively easy to go FI, on many of the engines. If you want FI on the FT-86, it will probably be MUCH more than doing this on a Miata.
Overall I'm very happy Toyota is coming out with this car, but I'm also admittedly disappointed that the engine was developed by Subaru and not Toyota.
So far, the concensus seems to be it will handle very well! Nice.
Modability doesn't cross the minds of the vast majority of car buyers. Most will buy it and leave it as is.
