I think you guys are wrong about Rob. There's no way he's going to win the money. Everyone who ends up on the jury is going to know they are there because Rob decided that they should be voted out. The jury will give the money to anyone except Rob.

no way they give it to phil... If rob is in the final 3, my guess is he wins. I hope that's not the case, but that's my guess.

Hate to say it, but I think Rob's got this in the bag now. The only chance is who comes out of redemption.

I can't stand Bwostan Rowb but he's got everyone so wrapped around his finger. The girls are useless, Matt is the only one that stands a chance against him at the final tribal. Sigh, in 23? seasons I've only picked the winner once. Africa and the guy who played soccer.

Payout on Survivor is a sliding scale - longer you stay the more you get paid.

Grant will be the next to go - he is a physical threat and could run the table and Rob can not have Grant in the final 3 or he will win. Grant has played the game well. He must win the idol or he is gone.

The girls will never get a vote - they have done nothing - nothing at all!

Phil is the wild card, he might actually convince a few folks to give him a vote as he has played the game better than the 3 bimbos who seem to lack any personality plus he works his butt off around camp.

Phil is a 100% lock to go to the final 3 - everyone wants him there and I hope he shocks the world!

I too am totally cheering for Phil.
I don't think it's a question of IF he will make the final 3, it will come down to how he acts getting there. The problem he will have is I don't think the 3 girls will ever vote for him. That's his biggest problem. Those are 3 votes he could never get. I think Steve etc would vote for Phillip. They may be annoyed by him, but I think they'd respect him on some level.

Then again, maybe they will just detest him and see that the main reason he got there is because everyone thought there was no way he could beat them....

Argh,. This is what I love about this show

Steve looked like he completely gave up in the Redemption Island challenge - he looked beaten down and exhausted.

Mike giving away the "family event" was bizarre. Attempting to gain favor with the others who slashed your teams throats was a bit weird.

Surprised Robb did not take out Grant but I guess its too early for a blind-side that would disrupt the whole team. Andrea was an easy choice. I see this happening next week as everyone expects Phil to go next week and Robb has to keep Phil around. So I expect Robb to convince the ladies its Grants time to go as Phil will vote and do whatever Robb wants.

Great to see the bright side of Phil come out - maybe he really knows how to play the game.

Redemption island is completely baffling me as we are down to 5 in the tribe with 4 on the island. Obviously, each of those 4 need to be eliminated in a specific order as the prize money is given by slots and the jury needs to be filled.

Majority of the jury is not watching what goes down at tribal council so how will their final votes be effected?
I'm starting to question if they put this person in with 3 remaining and basically tell the other 3, if the person wins immunity there in the finals, if you choose to swap a member of the tribe out by voting them out and taking the redemption island person its up to you if you think it will help your chances of winning the million $'s.

dvr went down while i had to go out of town for a family emergency, so I just now got the chance to catch up in the eps since russel got booted.

OMFG LOL, damn this is priceless. almost just like was said in this very thread those schmucks were a bunch of idiots for taking out a key element to their tribe so early and now they've all paid for it.

This has been the worst season ever IMO. I've watched every season. That Rob guy is incredibly annoying, and every week has been predictable. No surprises really at all.

actually it's the opposite...that's it's so predictable means the others should also realize it yet he still manages to have things occur at his desires.

i may be in the minority but i have kind of enjoyed the redemption island. it is kind of a neat twist imo, but i can understand why others don't like it. part of it is because it takes up so much time of the show and we don't get to see as much of the camp life as had in the past.

with this new format i kind of wish they had 2 eps at week or so, kind of like big brother. would be cool if 1 week focused on redemption island and tribe life, then the next one was the elimination challenge, more tribe life, and the vote off.

i definitely felt bad for grant being voted off, but i didn't really want to see anyone go off. i honestly don't see rob winning even if he does make it to the end, because he has kind of played the russel game this go around when it came down to the final tribe members of his original tribe. he flat out lied to andrea and grant, as well as matt. that will not go over well in the jury vote. and on top of that, all of zapatera knows that rob is the leader of omatepe, and was the leader of them getting voted out.

and we all know how people take this game personal so i see them not wanting rob to win since he had the greatest hand in voting the other people out. although in reality, he outwitted and outplayed them, since he is still in the game.

also after watching some ponderosa clips, it seems liek everyone already on the jury really has it out for rob.

personally, i'm shocked they haven't tried to get rob out in general. he has way too much power in this game, and even he knows it haha.

The jury is currently mostly those schmucks from the other tribe, so not surprised if they all hate rob like they hated russel.

Did catch an interested item during a recent commercial for sunday...said there are only 3 tribals left so unless they have to vote more than one person at one of them. That means we are back to a 3 person final. That means rob must have philip there to be able to pick his other weakest opponent.

starts with final redemption challenge, one of the four gets to go back and the trial looks to be a PITA one.
