Green Man Gaming currently doing Civ 5 for $35.00. $2.49 cheaper thans Steam. Civ 5 is a Steam game, so key code will register on Steam.

I'm thinking about getting Batman AA, but the activation limits kinda worry me. Found some info that possibly the GOTY edition doesn't have any limits or the limits get reset every month. Does anyone know about this?

picked up the trop 3 expansion and a couple of the X ones I didn't have, still debating on DA ultimate and MW2.

Batman AA FTW!

DAO is a game I want, and its a great deal, but I have enough to keep me occupied for a long time. Sticking with my sub-$10 price limit.

Very helpful information! More info like this would be appreciated it as so many deals are going on right now.

dang! I wonder if the FO3 keys, if bought through Impulse, would be useable on steam? Impulse had it for $10 cheaper a few days ago.

:hmm:

Retail CD Keys

Question

Answer

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Thinking about Dragon Age. Is the Ultimate Edition worth the extra $10?

I think I paid ~$25 for the digital deluxe a year(?) after release, which had a few of the main DLC. when you include Awakenings and the rest of the DLC, I'd say absolutely yes.

I still don't have awakening. Tons of fun playing through 2 different classes with the normal game and Stone Prisoner/The Keep. good, good stuff.

Aliens vs. Predator
Alpha Protocol
Borderlands DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution
Bully: Scholarship Edition
Burn Zombie Burn
CivCity: Rome
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
Darksiders
DarkStar One
Dead Rising 2
Deathspank
Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition
F.E.A.R
F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point
F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage
Ghost Master
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Patrician III
Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Persia: The Two Thrones
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale
Sid Meier's Civilization IV
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Warlords
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization
Splinter Cell
Splintercell: Chaos Theory
The Ball
The Great Art Race

This list is only going to double by the time this sale ends.

My poor wallet. 🙁

what is the hot game that killed the servers? man i hope early next jan i wont have a problem d/ling my games lol

and despite the built in steam drm, i won't get anything that is crazy intrusive like AC2; i'm actually just going to play it on the ps3....

but my backlog of games is huge now. it may seem like nothing, but games like LOL SC2 and WOW are never ending, they just go on forrrreeeevvvver. i also want to dedicate a lot of time into rome and really enjoy it

playing:
LOL
ff8
sc2

getting reayd to play:
resub to WOW
rome total war
monkey island series (3.75 for such good games, art style is very interesting too)

haven't played in long time:
ff6 (near the end, need to go back!)

you guys who buy fifty games are just crazy x_x do you honestly finish them? if you do, are you aiming for 100% complete, complete most things, or just run through it once ASAP?
If you don't finish, is it because you give up if you get stuck, only planned to play a portion of the game, or you just never started?
If you never started, is it because you thought youhad time to play it, or because you were never really interested, but it was just too good of a deal to pass up lol?

i'm just curious, because you guys truly are titans in terms of the number of purchases that are made

Most just to play through once, some for 100% completion. Some are re-buys of games I like or were a hassle to patch on disc, just wanted them tied to my Steam account.

If I don't finish its usually because I get sidetracked. If I don't get started, yeah probably a combination of all three reasons you mentioned above.

Steam was getting pounded yesterday, i had pullout my 50ft ethernet...my poor wireless adapter(which downloaded about 30GBs worth of games over the past 2 days) crashed like 6 times.

Oh, Fatpat, I played tropico until like 1am yesterday...that's some good stuff! 😀
