did some searching on steam and picked up a few games for cheap.

Greed: Black Border - Diablo style game set in space. Only played a few minutes so far but I am not impressed. It was $2.49.

Night Shift Code - one of those find the hidden objects type puzzle games. It also has other small puzzles where you have to decode messages. Has a story behind it and it's a fun time waster. It was less than $2.00

Night Shift Legacy - I believe this is a sequel to Night Shift Code. same style of game. less than $2.00 also.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - point and click adventure/puzzle game. Seems kind of interesting but I'm already stuck on the 1st puzzle. Its pretty tough. I believe this was less than $2.00.

Sniper Elite - Old FPS game set in WWII where you are a sniper. You get to use other weapons too but this is primarily a sniping game. Graphics aren't so hot any more. Still on the 1st level and got my butt kicked. Have to defend a dude in a building and couldn't figure out how to use tripwire grenades. I think this was less than $2.00 as well.

LOL at HAWX 2. Went from a whopping 25% off to 33%

I was hoping they'd discount HAWX 1 to $5 or so, but I guess that's wishful thinking with Ubisoft.

Tempted to bite on NWN2, but I'd be honestly foolish to do so. Why? Because:

A. I already bought it off of D2D a while back, I'd simply be double dipping
B. I recently bought DA: Origins Ultimate, NWN1 (GOG), Planescape Torment, Baldurs Gate 1&2, and The Witcher.

No way I'd ever get to it in a reasonable amount of time, and by the time I'll have the time, I'll certainly have more money as well. :D

Is NWN2 still a buggy game with poor performance even on current hardware (E8400 @ 3.9Ghz, HD4890)?

hmm, will have to think about cities.

also, it seems there is an indie tital on sale every day, it's listed in the packs section. just noticed it for the first time right before the sale swapped today and picked up AI wars for $3.

Is Serious Sam HD any good? I love Doom-type games where you just go nuts shooting stuff.

Only game I want is HAWX2 but c'mon at least give it 50% off. I got SFIV during thanksgiving sale I think it was $10. Well there's always a tomorrow to look forward to.

Thinking of gifting KOTOR. Strange that the Win7 compatibility issues seem to vary by setup.

Very Doom like, tons of enemies and waves of them and just pure mayhem. Has coop as well.

I do recommend doing a search on the Steam store for Serious Sam and selecting the HD one and just buy the HD pack that has SS1+2 HD in it, it is $2.99, saves a dollar from the gold pack where you get the 2 older SS's that the HDs are remakes of.

6-9 months ago on a C2D 1.66@2.8 GHz, 2GB RAM with 8800 GTS 640MB setup, I think I may had 1 or 2 crashes out the entire 1st campaign; it seemed stable enough for me.

Serious Sam, Editions 1 and 2 are classics. Biggest Boss monsters you will find. Serious Sam 2 (not to be confused with Serious Sam 2nd edition) was okay, but didn't have the open landscapes like the first two.

do you have problems with it hanging? it hangs after playing for a little while. has happened all 3 times i played it already. none of my other games have problems.

i was experiencing this as well. just browsing the forums a lot of other people with ATi cards like myself said updating the drivers fixes this, and i am still running older drivers so i'll try this out.

if you have an nVidia card i was seeing a lot of people mentioning v-sync as a possible issue with darksiders, i only glanced at it, though, since i have a radeon

grabbed the first four, lots of great games/content for less than $20, would have grabbed KOTOR as well if I hadn't already bought it a while ago while it was on sale. When are they going to add KOTORII :p

Humblebundle is a better place to get Machinarium. You get that plus with enough donation 9 other games. Including World of Goo and some other really good indie games.

Played KOTOR a long time ago but never got to finish it and gave the game away. Not sure if I'll have time to finish it again, but WTH, it's only $2.49.
