I heard Ted lie to his Texas constituents this morning, he said something about how he didn't say anything negative against Trump. Really? He said vote with your conscious up and down the ballot list. That was his stump speech when he was trying to win the nomination. Ted is very obviously being passive aggressive and telling everyone to not vote for trump and basically saying (I'm still your guy!)

Just come out and say you don't support him and you won't vote for him because of the nasty election. This is why people won't trust politicians, people like Ted won't say what they mean and will lie to everyone.

Yes, Ted Cruz is a pretty habitual liar. The thing is if you're Donald Trump you can't really complain about other people lying as nobody can compete with Trump in the lying department. Both the outrageousness and the sheer quantity of his lies are legendary.

It's so hard to choose, but my personal favorite is the tape of him posing as his own publicist back in the '90's, followed by another tape of him admitting back then that it was him, followed by a tape of him being asked about it this year and denying it. I think the difference between him and other liars, besides the sheer frequency of it is, he doesn't seem to worry about being caught. Apparently he's been lying for so many years and getting away with it and now he's just brazen about it.

Nobody seems to want to talk about the speeches given by the non-white employees, women and other associates who have been with Trump for years. The left doesn't want to see the excellent testimony that Trump is not a woman hater, bigot, racist and all the other things the mean stream media, Hillary shills, have been saying. For awhile I wasn't sure. Now I know, the media has been selling a bullshit narrative that I refuse to buy. I've been friends with a couple Hispanic ladies on social media for a couple years, who are employees of his, as well as one of his ex girlfriends. They've never had a bad thing to say about him. Him wanting to secure the border and suspend immigration from terrorist hot spots, have been blown way out of proportion, to include the media convincing the sheep that he hates all Mexicans and all Muslims. That's just not true!

You mean of all the employees of this billionaire, he was able to find some who were female and/or non-white and were willing to say nice things about him at his convention? Who knew!

A convention is about rallying the party faithful, getting everyone in line and backing the candidate. It's why candidates typically get a bounce in poll numbers from the convention. Anyway, it seems to have worked beautifully on you.

Yeah sure, it's all about the ebil librul media. You're not being manipulated at all by political theater. It's priceless.

It's also very telling that seemingly every person who has dealt with him for an extended period of time mentions just how frequently and outrageously he lies. It's not just a politics thing, apparently he is every bit as much of a liar in his personal dealings.

It must be very strange to have to deal with someone like that in your daily life. He genuinely seems to be mentally ill.

That depends on whether you count antisocial or narcissistic personality disorders as true mental illness. Strictly speaking these are just ordinary personality traits which certain people possess to an extreme.

These personality disorders are considered a plus in the business world. Though Trump is truly above and beyond. Even in the business world, he is sleazier than most.

I would say that most diagnosed mental illnesses are personality traits taken to an extreme though. As for them being good in the business world, I'm sure that's true to an extent.

One thing though, I'm really not at all convinced he was particularly successful in the business world. He seems to have done well licensing his name but his real estate ventures were quite frequently total disasters. I mean there's a reason he basically went bankrupt and it's because he was either incompetently financing his properties or he was engaged in what amounted to basically a Ponzi scheme.

that's the truly deplorable thing. Trump never having been a politician, he really hasn't much reason to lie.

It is absolutely pathological for him. None of it is calculated.

I beg to differ, Ben Carson kept up with Trump in that department neck & neck until he dropped out.

Did anyone see the selfie Paul Ryan posted on twitter of all the Republican party interns and how drastically it compares to a selfie showing all the Democratic party interns?

If you read my link or similar articles, then you know that Trump is a serial deadbeat. He was protected by the corporate shells he set up, and put his businesses into bankruptcy to screw his creditors. He's largely gotten away with it and is now quite wealthy. That's how a sociopath is successful. Not by making savvy investments.

OHMIGOD!!!

I just saw the Laura Ingraham Nazi salute.

I couldn't believe my eyes!! she must have thought she was underneath her Klan sheets!!

OHMIGOD!!

I still can't believe that. What's worse is she REALIZED it midway through her waving to the crowd and she changed her hand gesture and started to wave completely differently...what a total fvckup!!

I like how compuwiz blamed the media. They just report what he says! :D

Here's 141 things he's said with links ranked from most worse to least worse.
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/cover_story/2016/07/donald_trump_is_unfit_to_be_president_here_are_141_reasons_why.html

  • Said he would force the military to commit war crimes
  • Said about women, "You have to treat them like shit"
  • Proposed to create a database to track Muslims in the US
  • Said a US born judge could be impartial because of his Mexican heritage
  • Advocated assassinating terrorists families
  • Advocated waterboarding as punishment even if it doesn’t help gain information, because “they deserve it anyway”
  • Said women should be punished for having an abortion
  • Promised to deport U.S. citizens whose parents immigrated illegally, in violation of the 14th Amendment
  • Urged supporters to beat up protesters at his rallies
  • Made fun of a reporters physical disabilities

This list is incredible.it makes him seem unfit for pretty much any job (even a burger flipper at McDonald's) let alone president. Would you hire a new burger guy at McDonald's if he said about women "You have to treat them like shit" and advocated for assassination of terrorists families? Incredible. That would be the most interesting job interview ever though.

While I highly doubt it will happen again, I just saw a guy on the news state Trumps people brought in two different vendors with specialized software to verify nothing in Trumps speech is copied.

lol, that douche Peter Thiel totally pissed off the NC delegates claiming that these stupid social issues are a waste (he's right) and the party doesn't need to be talking about what bathrooms people have to use.

That group booed, and some of them complained to the Newshour reporter that "Tonight was supposed to be about unity! We don't need to hear these divisive statements at our convention--not tonight!"

fucking dumbshit NC republicans--you're fucking platform is about division. That is all you advocate. Thiel just told you to stop being divisive you dumbshit redneck fuckholes.

man, I really can't stand some of the horrible people from my homestate. :(

Yes, yes- they want to be united in divisiveness against them, the others, the ones who make baby Jesus cry.

It is really rich seeing Trump blame ISIS on Hillary. Guess he forgot about some sort of war that caused that.
