Oiler fans, I have a question...
I flew back (to Detroit) from Chicago, with a couple of Edmonton fans (ok nuts...lol) and 4-5 radio guys from the Edmonton area. They were talking about throwing "Beef" on the ice. What was that all about?
I didn't see any of the last game (fortunately for me I guess) to see if they managed to do it... but am still wondering what it's all about.
John is exactly right... Alberta beef is what is being thrown on to the ice.
It's simply in response to the octopus being thrown on the ice at the Wings home games.
John: I don't want to think too far ahead... I am still of the mindset that the Wings / Oil series is going 7. I think they would either have each won the home games (5 and 6) but now perhaps they will each trade road wins. Of course, I'll settle for a home win tonight by the Oil
Wings are in denial right now though... basically saying it has been a series of bounces and luck for the Oilers. Personally, I hope they truly are in that mindset, because it will bite them in the ass tonight if they are. Take some responsibility and give some credit where it's due!!
Samps: Gotta like the way Miller bounced back!!
Nice to see young tenders like Miller and Cam Ward making names for themselves...
*melty clutches Cam Ward rookie cards*
