Yep, things are getting very interesting in the West. My Sharks are only 3 points back from Vancouver's 8th spot and the Ducks are knocking on their door being only 2 points back. We have a tough weekend. Back to back against the Stars and the Avs.

Meltdown, I'm counting on your boys to take out the Canucks in your back-to-back-to-back games with them next week. 😉

I will personally come down to San Jose and pee in your butt if that happens 😛 😉

Hey it's good to see some productivity from your boys so far tonight. Bertuzzi and Naslund with assists. Their first points in what, 5 games? 😉

BTW Aquaman, good luck in the back to back to back series...

Who the hell made this schedule anyway, Bettman?! 😛

Rest assured I won't miss a second of the action!

I think they are going to modify the schedule next season (at least I hope).

I don't know about the Back to back to back series.......... but at least it will feel like the playoffs. At this point in time I just hope we can still make the playoffs.

Cheers,
Aquaman

damn straight, and a sweet pickup in my draft pool at 11th overall  Jags is set to make me some serious money. $$$$

w00t for my Oilers, at least getting a point out of those high-flying Wings!

Jagr had Lang, Bondra, Oates, Gonchar and he didn't score this well. It was just the atmosphere... $11mil per year wasn't enough... he definitely likes the NY spotlight. He actually cares now.

Yep. Joe Thornton is right there too. Both guys are amazing.

Wait until the playoffs...I'll bet Thornton is his usual no show self....just like the olympics, and in past years playoffs.

🙂

Bruins signed Thomas to a 3 year contract, so Raycroft will probably be on the way out in the off season. The B's may not make the playoffs, but I think they are a few good players away from having an awesome team. Nice to get back to back wins over Ottawa and Carolina...as bad as they have played this year, the B's have beaten Ottawa four straight times...twice by shutout.

We'll see. The Thornton/Cheecho/Ekman line has been consistent all year for us since Thornton came over in the trade. 🙂

ttt

Hart Trophy poll blatantly stolen from The Hockey News and added! Vote for your pick for the Hart!

My vote goes to AO... simply because his game is so much more well-rounded than the other candidates!!

Enjoy! 🙂

I'm sure you know who my vote goes for 🙂

As much as I love watching AO play, Thornton has the most assists in the league and has drastically improved both Cheechoo and Ekman's game since he came to SJ.

Meltdown and Aquaman, may the best team win this week! 😉
thanks... i basically came here to say the same thing to Aquaman 😛

i'm worried... playing teams that the Oilers have a winning streak against is scary. that, and the way Vancouver's 2nd line (Three Brothers line 😉 ) is playing. if their first unit plays to their ability, look out Western conference.

Go Oilers! On Hemsky, on Horcoff! Spacek and Pronger! Smyth, Torres and Stoll too! 😛

GOOOOOOOOOOOOO OIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

LMAO @ the number of voters so far in the poll

I fear for my Canucks........ I hope they make it into the playoffs......... but 3 head to head games with an oilers team that has beaten us 5 times this year......... and they now have a better goalie.......... lord have mercy. 🙁

Cheers,
Aquaman

Go Sharks! 6-0 route tonight against St Louis and Toskala got his first shutout. Now if only they can play the rest of the season this way! 🙂
