The NFC South should be really interesting next year once Carolina gets organized. I don't know what Tampa Bay is doing, but it should be great competition next year.

More BS officiating from the NFL zebras. They need some serious housecleaning after this season, or before the playoffs.

I don't get how these commentators don't get the difference in helmet-to-helmet on a defenseless receiver and hitting a receiver squarely in the back.

LOLOL. Anyone watching the C'mon Man thing, culminating in the two geezers going at each other with canes and microphones? Haahhaa!

I guess the 49ers are going to have to beat the Rams next week. Was hoping the Falcons would win this one so the Rams could win and not get Luck. :sneaky:

The combination of horrifically bad officiating and completely classless play calling from the Saints (leaving in a starter and passing when you're up by 22 with 3 minutes left, record or not) has made me truly hate this game tonight.

I would like it if the extremely biased officiating gets cleaned up before the playoffs for sure.

Eh, it's the NFL and everyone in the stadium knew he was gunning for the record. If you can't stop him, then he deserves the record. If the Falcons thought that the Saints were going to run out the clock after Brees told everyone he wanted to break the record tonight, they must have been napping.

Blame the terrible run game and red zone play of the Falcons. That's been their strength throughout the season. It's tougher to run against the Saints because they score but to go 11 carries for 39 yards is going to lose you 75% of the games out there. Settling for those FGs with the penalties totally killed them, not the extra 30 yards with 3 mins to go.
