That's it. It's over for Favre. Head injury.

Seriously, I am glad. Go home already.

Which I think was the plan anyway. Favre announces he's skipping the last game, and the Commish says that since he wasn't playing they will not be able to give him a one game suspension. So, Favre doesn't have it on his "record"

lol, hester doesn't get it on the kickoff, but he takes the first viking punt of the half downtown claiming the return TD record.

Great for Hester, haha. That looked so easy.

So much for the booing Kluwe for kicking it out of bounds. I guess it was the better choice to kick it out of bounds.

I'd buy THAT for a dollar!

I'm sad to see Favre go out this way. I didn't expect the Vikings to win tonight...but I had expected better than they've given.

Whose bright fucking idea was it to pick Webb as back-up QB? I'll give him credit for coming out and trying...but he has zero experience, and the Chicago defense is tearing him apart.

a (semi) healthy favre and the vikings might have won this game, bears seemed somewhat shaken when he took the field and drove them right down to start the game.

They may have put up a few more points, but the Vikings defense has struggled a lot in the past few weeks. This game they kept making huge mistakes. Their supposedly great run defense got walked all over by the Giants and the Bears. And their secondary is a joke. Not to mention their special teamers may as well not have even shown up today for all the good they did.

If Favre and AP were both completely healthy this whole game they would have lost 28-40 instead.

Heard the details for the glorious nfc west race today. If the seachickens manage to lose to tampa, and san fran wins their next 2 games then san fran takes the division crown at 7-9 and host a first round game. And mike probably still gets canned at the end of the year.

IIRC, the Yorks are cheap bastards. I won't be surprised if Mike keeps his job if the Niners win the division.

he was the 3rd string, but TJ got put on IR, so he moved to #2 and they picked up a guy for #3

he did fine for a guy that was never allowed to take snaps, ever. and facing one of the top D's in the NFL that was in pretty good form last night.

Sadface if they keep Singletary.

I have until the 27th to pick up playoff tickets.. Guess I'll wait until after Sunday.

Another interesting note is that.. the 49ers go from a top 10 pick (supposedly) to the 21st pick at minimum if they win the division.

Well if its any consolation to you, it's not like they do well with a top 10 pick anyway. (see: Alex Smith) ;)

Also heard a story that there are strong rumors that mangenius will be canned this year, although it seems the team has been doing better this year than last and could be scary next year if mccoy stays healthy and keeps improving.

Let me guess -- after an "exhaustive search," Holmgren will be forced to conclude that he is the right man to coach the Browns?
