Lots of 1PM games... Should be a fun afternoon with the Red Zone Channel 🙂

Cant believe they arent flexing out the GB/NE game. So many interdivision games that have more playoff impact than that one.

Eagles v Giants anyone?

Everyone loves the Patriots and I'm sure when they scheduled it they expected a high-scoring Brady vs. Rodgers shootout. I wonder if they just didn't have enough time to change it after Rodgers went out with a concussion?

What baffles me is that the NFL flexed the Vikings @ Eagles game to Sunday night on week 16. A beat-up team playing on the road against one of the best? It won't be pretty and I don't expect it to be particularly entertaining, even for Eagles fans. Favre probably won't even play in it.

But yeah, as for the others... tonight's game is very important for both the Chargers and the 49ers, and you've also got the Jags/Colts and Eagles/Giants games that will probably decide their divisions.

It is a must win for the Colts.

Speaking of which, I saw an article today where Bill Polian admitted he made a HUGE mistake not drafting offensive line high in the draft, including the first round. I hope that is a positive sign that he will make corrections in the offseason.

Not to mention the Vikes arent playing for anything and its highly possible the Eagles spot in the playoffs will be determined following this weeks action. There are going to be a lot better playoff impacting games week 16.

As for this week, they wouldnt flex an NFLN / TNF game, but the other two you mentioned are no brainers.

Has anyone notice an increase (a GREAT increase for that matter) of number of helmets that come off? It seems like every 3rd play now or so there's a guy without his helmet on. I don't recall seeing so many ever.

I've noticed the same thing. I don't know if it's because they just aren't tightening them down as much or what. But yes, there are helmets flying off on every 3rd or 4th play. I don't remember that being something that happened 10 years ago.

FUCK YOU VINCENT JACKSON FUCK YOU...

i pulled him off my starting line up 2 hours ago.. FUCK YOU

HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

I'm loving the ass-whuppin San Diego is handing the 9ers tonight.

I REALLY loved the play...kick for 3 points...oops, let's take the penalty...wipe out 3...go for 7...Alex Smith runs it in...oops, nope, he misses....give the ball up on downs...then, just a couple of plays later...lose one of your best defensive players to Unneccessary Roughness...on an official...ejected.

In my mind, I am sitting there, prior to start, going...

you know, V Jax has now had 2 weeks to mesh with Rivers... Last week he was targeted twice, but their timing was not complete... V Jax has probably been figured out by Rivers, and he's a beast... So i start reading around with the different sites, going "yea, i know... but he has been to PRACTICE and WORKING"

then i let other people influence me, and i pull him...
Now I am hoping that A. Johnson and D. Bowe perform...

still trying to figure out if i should start Forte, or M. Williams (TB) and who to start as my QB

yeah....that 8 PM sunday game is gonna suck. The pats have been lucking out. They get the Bears in the snow, now they get a non functioning Packers.

Can't watch the 9ers, don't have the nfl channel.
What did Justin Smith do? And why?

He was in a minor tussle...ref tried to break it up, Smith pushed the ref.
It was pretty obvious that Smith didn't realize it was a ref until after the push, but it was too late.

It was pretty obvious that Smith didn't realize it was a ref until after the push, but it was too late.

I'm not even sure I'd call that a push, it was more like he put his arm on the ref and the mass of his arm displaced the ref slightly

At any rate it was obvious Smith didn't realize it was a ref and was just instinctual defining his space by keeping people in his periphery at arms length, and it was also obvious the ref immediately threw the flag because his instincts told him that the move was more malicious (or was going to be) than it really was.

Pretty BS if you ask me. An unnecessary roughness on an official is an automatic ejection from the game, I totally understand that and completely agree, but if that shove was against a player it wouldn't have been considered as unnecessary roughness, not in the slightest.

Not sure why this upsets me so much, I don't give a damn about either team, however its frustrating watching the NFL go down the shitter with all this terrible officiating and pussification.
