Every cold weather field is heated to some extent. Lambeau has been heated since the 60's I think. If it isn't heated it's like playing on concrete.

TCF Bank Stadium was meant to only host Gophers games, they never expected it to host games later than November.

Although it seems a bit ridiculous to have an unheated field in Minnesota. It can get quite cold and snowy in November.

Yeah, that's my point. They shouldn't play the game there unless they can thaw the turf before gametime. It's not about the bears players being pansies. It's a pretty legitimate complaint IMO. My guess is they will find a way to thaw it out though. Simply stretching black tarps over it should be enough if it is sunny.

Who said it didn't? All i am saying is that from that game, it looks the Bears played in a dome. It was a horrific game to watch, even for a pats fan.

Well, I'll agree with that but I don't think the pats were any luckier it was a snow game than the bears. It's not like the bears are from Miami, they should know how to play in their own backyard. 😛

With as much emphasis as there is on concussions, an ultra hard turf is about the worst thing they can have. With many concussions it's the bouncing your head off the turf that gets you. That's what got both Cutler and Rodgers. It wasn't helmet to helmet.

“I also told [McNabb] that the next two weeks following the Dallas game that John Beck would be the backup quarterback so that I can see him in his role." so he is now the 3rd string QB , you think the writing is on the wall?

There's a whole separate thread on this 🙂
Question is if McNabb goes to Minne or Arizona, or if he stays in DC and Shanahans leave.

at this point i am totally at a loss for words. i am wondering if snyder forced mcnabb on shanahan and this is his way of saying fire me or get rid of him?

No idea. All I know is that I thank the ghost of Vince Lombardi that the Packers have never been a circus and an embarrassment like the Redskins or the Vikings and a few other teams out there. Even if the Packers end up 8-8 I will be content in knowing next year, we still are looking A-Ok.

I do not envy fans of teams in chaos.

Wtf, if mcnabb is the third string guy then he can't even come in until the fourth without the roster penalties. Lol so much lulz.

This is a week you really need to see your bookie. Big dollars can be tossed on dallas and new england and you can lay your house deed against ramsey.

Tell that to the purple people eaters.
