Just my guess. Baltimore could miss the playoffs too, but I don't think they will. Indi could very well miss them altogether as well

The Colts season is next week. If they lose to the Jags, their season is over.

The Jets, Baltimore, and San Diego will be playing for the wild card in all likelihood. Even if KC loses out to SD for the division, it isn't completely out of the question that they could make it as a wild card, though it would be tough.

I think the only teams in the AFC you can bank on making the playoffs are the Patriots and Steelers.

I could see a huge collapse from the Jets and Ravens, and the other two divisions are completely up in the air.

I agree and understand, I just think KC will collapse. They just aren't nearly as good as their record suggests, if they do sneak in on the wild card they will be an easy win for whoever gets them. Probably the Pats

KC is a joke and a fraud. If they do somehow sneak in, they will lose in the first round regardless of who they play. Oakland is every bit as good as KC or better and could play spoiler the last week, assuming they even get that far.

I think KC is decent, but not great. They benefit from playing in a relatively weak division and caught some better teams (like SD) off guard. The Raiders have a great opportunity to spoil it for the Chiefs and, if the Colts win Sunday, could also spoil it for the Colts in a couple weeks.

If the Jets miss the playoffs, I might get banned from the forums for all my "LOL!" posts. 😀

Hope KC makes it and San Diego and Indy miss it. KC is definitely overrated.

Of the two (KC and SD), the Chargers have a far easier schedule remaining. SD has the Bengals, Broncos, and 49ers left while KC has the Titans, Rams, and Raiders. Cassel was out yesterday and may miss Sunday's game against the Rams, which could doom the Chiefs.

KC has Cassel now; I'd like to see him do well, after what he did for us in 2008. No more SD and Indy for the Patriots next season, that's gonna be different.

Not so fast, my friend. If the Colts win out, they will play the Pats next year. I'd say the Colts have a 50/50 chance of winning out.

It's entirely possible though. They have Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Buffalo in their last 3 games. I can easily see them losing to Pitt/Chicago, and at that point they will be riding a 4 game losing streak, and will probably be so demoralized that buffalo could beat them pretty easily.

Baltimore has Houston, New Orleans, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. I could see them losing three of those four games if they got in a slump. I think the ravens season hangs on beating houston tonight. If they lose that one, I bet they lose to NO and maybe even cleveland.

Even if the Jest lose to Pitt and Chic, I don't see them falling to Toronto.

The Jets already are demoralized and they aren't getting any help from their coach. Throwing your defense under the bus after they allowed 10 points is ridiculous and a pretty surefire way to piss off your defensive players. Considering the large number of egos they have on both sides of the ball, I think the potential for a flame out is decent.

if they lose to the Steelers, kiss their season goodbye.

who plays in toronto, the rough riders?

Yeah, I'd say surrendering 10 points is acceptable when 7 of those points are the result of your offense's turnovers and you actually won 3 of your own turnovers.

Good God, NYJ probably had a better chance of winning this game if their defense just played the entire game.

So. Detroit is so confused today, we don't know what to do with ourselves. I usually don't listen to sports radio in the afternoon, but I had to today because this is so weird.

I don't know if anybody is going to the game, but it's seriously going to be a mess. If you haven't left by now, you're in trouble. Avoid 75 south heading into the city like the plague. 75 north, M10, and 96 are apparently okay. No idea on 94 from either direction. I am not kidding you when I say that I have not seen an ounce of salt all day long. This city cannot afford salt, and there is even a salt mine right on the edge of the city. 75 south is an ice luge.

Now beyond this, everyone is stressed out about the ticket situation. People have been taking the free tickets and scalping them now that they're not giving any more out - what a surprise. I've also heard several comments with concerns over what "types" of people will be in Ford Field tonight. Well surprise, when you give stuff away you're going to get some hoodrats and some unemployed.

They even scrubbed the Lions logos off the field and have Vikings crap painted on. This is going to be weird.

Sad it wont be nationally televised.

I'm really amazed at the free give way. Once in 2007 the Indians and Angels needed to play a game at Miller Park in Milwaukee due to a snow storm in Cleveland. Tickets were $8 I think... not free. Ironically, we had a snow-storm here that day too, but the dome saved us!

Ugh, I'm not in a "Vikings Market" for this game. Anyone know of a stream? I was really looking forward to watching this...
