Lions coach is blaming the official for calling the whistle early on the fumble.

Did someone told him that they lost by 17 had a 30 something rushing game and 200yds out 380 was by one player as well as the opposing QB hit over 465yds?

They should cry more lol. A couple things were indeed questionable with the calls tonight, but not enough to make a difference when you can't stop them 5 times in a row from taking it to the house.

I agree, the killer IMO was the dropped INT in the 4th, right through the hands of the DB, could have been a huge lift for the beleaguered Lions defense at that point. Mistake by the Lions coaching staff by not challenging the spot on the 3rd down play IMO, that ball was spotted easily a yd too far by the ref, worth a challenge given how hard it is to stop the NO offense..

SF vs NO is gonna be a fun one. And if NO wins that, then my personal superbowl will be the game between NO and GB. The AFC is almost irrelevant this year.

I'm interested if the NYG can generate enough pass rush to disrupt a NO or GB offense, if so they could have a long shot of competing, the Lions didn't blitz much at all yesterday and given they were getting torched anyway you would have thought it deserved a try..

The Lions didnt do much of anything yesterday on the defense side. Wasnt their day. Couple shaky calls didnt go their way. But if things goes wrong on a day things goes wrong totally. Feels like everyone is against you.

Giants offensive line and linebacker are theyre Achilles heel but so the Falcons. Giants Quarterback and defensive line are playing well. Doing better than the Falcons in fact.

Not likely your going to see a lot of blitzes as the Giants use a four down linemen to pressure the quarterback. Giants got two excellent wide receivers though

So Niners up against NO...

It'll be a tough one for the Niners, but I think they got it. Pressure Brees amd get some take aways on defense is what they need to focus on.

Hopefully Smith can put the ball where it needs to go.

I just don't see the Niners stopping Brees. That, and their offense has been so bad for most of the year that they have to hope that they can win a 14-10 game.

I think the Saints are an automatic 10 points just for showing up.

Jesus.. watching Falcons and Giants feels like such a letdown after the NO/DET game last night. Both of these teams are definitely way under par, no way they get past NO/GB/SF.
