its not just losing..its the end of their dynasty. u probably dont remember (well webber and christie cried in the locker room after game 7 last year) because nothing this dramatic has happened to any team in awhile.

Actually, quite a few players have cried after losing, Tim Duncan cried the last two seasons... Other players have as well... It just shows the competitiveness and emotion involved with these guys.

Anyways, it was a great run by the Lakes and great sportsmanship by both teams at the end. Its only fitting that the last team to beat us be the next one to beat us. And, I'm still a Laker fan... Just no more games to watch and root for... So, go ahead and laugh at us if it makes you feel better, but its a sad time in Lakertown that eventually had to come...

Here's hoping for some good basketball through the rest of the playoffs...

Hmm, I guess the Lakers can't throw the switch when it's crunch time like they always said they could... Interesting. How'd that 28 point ass kicking taste L.A.? Now if the idiots in that city will just riot the evening will be complete.

If you think about it this is the best thing that could possibly happen. Not only are the lakers out but we won't have to hear from 90% of the laker fans anymore because they'll have to find a new bandwagon to jump on. How sweet it is.

The difference between Webber and Chrstie crying is that they played great team basketball and had a few bad breask go the wrong way. They were up in both the closetout games. They were blowing the Lakers out and lost it....

The Lakers just got owned...didn't even put up a fight. I could understand a little crying after playing a great game and losing to a great shot by Duncan, but they were outplayed the whole game... it's not even like they played a great season and it's all down the drain. If you have the best record in the NBA and have home court and lose that's different.

Say it with me Lakers fans, TEAM BASKETBALL

The Lakers gave their best despite the injuries but wasn't enough. They'll be back next year. Go LAKERS!!

Congrats to the Spurs for a great effort.

It must be a bitch to have to try and win it on talent and not on biased calls by the Refs. Today was a great day for the NBA!
