Yeah, I was referring to the 300HP Japenese races for class A. The Ford GT is by far the most powerfull car for the american races, I had no problems coming in first place with the Ford.

What is a scooby?

I used the Vette Z06 for the American races, easy wins all around. I also grabbed gold on a couple of the all manufacturer races with it; I haven't seen a better car for Daytona yet (the Vette will pass 200 in the straights, while the F430 maxes at 194 and the GTR takes too long to get up to speed).

The Scooby has got to be a Subaru Impreza... And the new shape is an ugly, ugly beast.

I used the NSX to capture gold in one of the Japanese races; it was a tricky run weaving through the pack, but when you get open, you can really drive the hell out of it.

Is the Subura much faster then the RX-7? I managed to get third place both races with the RX-7 and I even made a few small mistakes. If I had driven perfectly I might have been second or first place.

wow is all I have to say! I just got the game (and did the requisite updates) and was blown away at the intro to the game.

I've only played a few races so far but this is by far the best looking game I have played. I cannot wait till the full GT5 comes out in a little less than a year with tons more tracks and cars!

I'm enjoying this so far. The A class races provide a nice challenge. I'm thinking when the full version is released, I may break down and get a steering wheel for this game.

Hell, assuming the game ships next spring (I'm sure it will be later), if you were to save around $5/week for the next year, you should be able to easily find a G25 wheel online that you can afford.

think i might have to spring for the driving chair also, for the full game. Have to get a good base for the G25.

There was a guy on the playstation.com boards who was asking for suggestions on which racing gloves to buy to use with his G25. 🙂

What cars did you use for the PP630 S class events? I bought a Lotus elise but I just recently saw that there is also a tuner Lotus Elise with body kit available but I think that one will be over 630pp.

Given the reviews the g25 is receiving, it would be very tempting, especially finding one used or refurbished or something, but I'm not hardcore enough to be able to justify a g25. 🙂

Lots of rich people out there. Amazon's G25 stock sold out. Oh well, maybe I'll get one when it comes back in stock, if ever.

Sweet, back in stock @ amazon!

Yeah I just saw it. Now I'm debating whether to order now or wait. My biggest hangup is the space this takes up and having to build a platform to place it on.

Playseats Evolution + Gear-Shift Holder + G25 = Epic Win. Too bad it's more money than I'm willing to spend on video games atm.
