LOL! Updating!

WTF, this is lauch day and I'm DL an update. wow...

Still not playing the game. 20 mins in. :|

I've played 360 games like that, but the one bonus is that 360 updates are many orders of magnitudes faster than PS3 updates.

Are you playing it with a force feedback wheel? If so which wheel are you using? The experience is much better with a wheel.

damn EU and their strong currency 🙂

Hopefully my PS3 will arrive by the time GT5 comes out. Damn ebay people not communicating.

lulz PS3 has no REAL games, just demos.

LOL PS3 plays Blu-Ray movies and doesn't suicide every 2 months.

I think most of the 360s suicide due to exhaustion from over utilization, not loneliness. 😉

The lulz are strong in this thread.

Wait, what do you mean "installing"? Don't tell me this is Capcom-like...

I think he meant 2.2 update.

we may never find out cus i think he syringered our faces.

OK, been playing it since the OP. great game. Lets run through some first inpressions:

- Feels like GT4 with better GFX/Physics. I guess this is the point and it is good
- Does not feel like a 'Demo'. Feels like a full game.
- Online is OK, but it matches you up with players. I can't play with buddies.
~Online is a ramming battle. :| I got a barrier penalty for being rammed from behind into said barrier. :| ++
- It's easy to earn credits and therefore cars.
- Online is a ramming battle and good clean races are rare, but good when you get them.
- GFX are amazing. Car dynamics feel very good, but geared more toward easy control, not so twitchy (Not tried Pro physics yet)
- Online is a ramming battle.

I'm just using a regular controller.

Ask away! (I'm hitting the sack, so answers tomorrow...! lol)

Nope. Already had the 2.20 update on it. It goes like this:

- HDD install
- Update

All in you will be loking at 25-40 mins before you get a game in. Add another 20+ for 2.20 if you don't have that.

WIN?

2 questions:

1.) So there's absolutely no options for custom online play, just simply a single button to throw you into a race?
2.) Do online matches seem to typically devolve into ramming battles? 😛

One question from me as well;

1. Is the online game a ramming battle?
