If I'm a frenzy-barb doing about 115K dmg right now and aiming to up it, and I have a life steal % of 5.9 do I really need LoH do you think? I've got about 750 LoH right now, and while before that didn't seem adequate, now I don't even use health potions. I hit something a couple times for 115K let's say, and those two hits give me 6000 dmg right there. Plus my tornadoes constantly hit so it's like a perma-life leech...I'm thinking of ditching loH gear for other stats, just wanted to run it by ppl here first

not a bad farming amulet. you should be happy to get decent drops!! much more rewarding than going to the AH for everything.

edit: looking up the compass rose, not a bad pair.
 
Sold some pants for 1.7 million today 😀 BTW, that gear has helped immensely silverpig, thanks again! I can now kite without even trying.
 
bought a ring to replace my LoH one, has 6% crit chance, 8% IAS, 85 Str, replaces a 60 str, 60 vit, 400 LoH, 4% crit ring. Dmg went up 11k!
 
Side note: How come sometimes I can see people's embedded imgs on the forums, and sometimes I can't?

I'm at work and on my work laptop and I can see waterjug's embedded pics, but when I was home last night, nothing was showing up.

2 grand, at like 40,100 now. It's fine, nothing one-hits me, and the 6% life steal means I'm almost always near full when I'm whirlwinding.

I should farm some more gold over the weekend. Hopefully, there will be an influx of new players after Christmas.
 
Wow, I expected a mass exodus from Diablo 3 after all the shenanigans that went on in the beginning.

I stopped in the beginning of act 2 of Inferno with my Barb. I breezed through act 1 without any close calls and promptly died from the very first sand wasp I ran in to, over and over again. I laughed at the stupidity of it and quit the game.

I know they've changed things quite a bit since then, but is it still entirely dependent on endless hours of farming? I'd like to pick it up again but I'm more of a casual gamer, I'd rather not spend every waking hour making the same run over and over again in order to get something that will allow me to survive my first sand wasp 😛

The game is insanely easy now. You could beat inferno on mp0 with just found gear. Even just 250k in gold can bring you into lower mp levels.

mp5 or 6 here. 6 takes a little longer. death in 5 doesn't really happen, but in 6 it depends on the affixes.

I was stuck on mp4 for a while, I ended up finally biting hte bullet and purchasing gold (30mil for $9 🙁 ) in order to get some needed upgrades. So now 5 or 6 is comfortable, 7 is tougher.
 
I can farm MP7-MP8 comfortably, but slowly on my tank DH. I can do MP10 most of the time, but it takes forever to bring things down. The problem I have on the top MP levels is enrage timers on the bosses.

Right now I am farming keys on MP6 as a compromise to speed things up. I think, for me, several MP6 runs would be faster than a single MP10 run. I think I will have to try the uber bosses at MP6 also. I'll probably go through many more than three machines getting the organs for a ring.

We got lucky on MP5. Two runs total, 6 machines (2 of mine). 2 of us got the
three pieces, other 2 got 2 pieces... Nice roll on a Dex HF Ring, using on my monk now...

Lots of Int, Vit, AR, IAS, Crit %, Crit Dmg

Try to balance them out and not stack too much of just one or two things.

Vit/AR obviously give you survivability

Int, IAS, CC% and CD% give you offensive capabilities.

I'd also maybe recommend getting a cheaper Chantodo's Set for now to give you an extra +130 int bonus. W/O looking at your char profile, I'm assuming you need to get some mediocre/semi decent gear so you can start doing a little higher MP level (1-3) w/o dying. Then you can farm stuff and use or sell for gold to buy even better gear. Basically, w/o a huge amount of gold to start out with, you'll have to just slowly upgrade your pieces little by little.
