So I cancelled my Origin preorder and went with Amazon. Well, Origin just sent me the Physical Warefare Pack code!

The game keeps freezing after around 5-10 minutes of play. Crashes to desktop. Although I had crashing in the Beta, it was random times. This is constant 5-10 minutes. Maybe I should try the old beta drivers (upgraded to the new ones before playing).

Took me a while to get my crossfire working properly. For some reason, TRIXX wouldn't synch the clocks on my cards. I'm using CCC for the clocks and it is working fine now.

weird, I don't have a code for the physical warefare pack.

I cancelled like 3 months ago. Until today, the preorder was still showing up in Origin as a bought game, but also a cancelled order. Even when I installed from Amazon it was still showing up. Well, I'm not going to complain!

Going to take a while to tweak things but good to see that you can access all options without going in game and you can zoom in/out of the minimap to see everything.

But game crashes after the end of every round just about.

Finally got to play something other than that retarded Metro from the beta. Damn it feels like good 'ol Battlefield again. Much much much closer to original Battlefield play than Bad Company. I'm definitely happy with it so far. Only got to play two full rounds but they were two great rounds. Damn work, can't play tonight any more.

That one map with all the choppers at base is bad ass. I think it's the one with the oilrig platform in the middle.

I don't think I played that one yet or if I did the map changed right when I got in. I played Seine Crossing and it's a really fun urban map.

Operation Firestorm. Awesome map. Seine is great too, definitely different tactically.

This is turning out to be quite the successor.

I don't know if it's just my system but Operation Firestorm ran super choppy for me. Sometimes almost unplayable.

I'm seeing a lot of reports that if you try installing from the physical disk it forces you to download the game. All 12 GB. I'm hoping this isn't the case, but it's coming up in a few places.

Installed game off of discs.

Took about 20 mins to install and there was a download OMG!

It was only 472 MB and it took maybe 10 mins to download and install, GTG!

How big are the maps? BF2 sized?

Slightly bigger but flags are packed closer together. Firestorm is a good example. It actually is a pretty good map but I think they missed an opportunity to have just 3 flags in the middle and put 2 out at further extremes.

It fired up Origin after I inserted the DVD but I think it's installing from the drive since I can hear it spin up and It asked me for the 2nd disc. The progress bar is labeled 'active download' even when you're installing from the DVD.
