I managed to get into a caspian map for all of 2 minutes, looked cool but then the round ended and I got disconnected and wasn't able to get back in another game. That being said I've been playing more metro and I must say this is growing on me. Perhaps it was just frustration from the first day. Currently having the m16 + rds+suppressor+foregrip = pretty damn awesome, especially in the subway as it's quiet and with little recoil.

Also grabbing that m249 + extended mag and laying down some serious lead never seems to lose its appeal.

Sniping I wish they had kept it like bc2. I can't quite figure out how its working here and how bullets actually drop. Sometimes 1shot kill, others it doesn't work..kinda up in the air.

Actually - if you are a stat whore its better for you. You get to avoid some of the low score learning curve times

Hmm - maybe I'll have to give the M16 another go. I do very much like the M249, bipod zoomed in on one of the doorway choke points

I was talking about body shots, headshots are 1hk I assume. Or it may be that bolt actions are 1 hk to head and semi auto 2 hk to head.

No, it's been stated bolt action snipers are 1 hit kills if you get a headshot, and magnum ammo doesn't make body shots a one hit kill (aka magnum ammo is useless on sniper rifles p much)

It's been way too far back to easily find in Demize's twitter, but pretty sure there will be no magnums.

No magnum ammo in bf3, which is a good thing since that would mean like 1sht kill from every gun.

Got home too late from work tonight to play but from what you're all saying is that Caspian feels more like classic BF which is what I want. I hope they still have it running tomorrow.

I got to play Caspian a bit. The choppers controls are much closer to BC2 than BF2, which is extremely disappointing. They feel floaty, no where near as precise as the movements in BF2. No hard banks or rolls in these choppers.

The map itself I like, but the choppers are a big let down for me.

Ya I read this and was pretty upset. I can live without rolls but not being able to do hard banks is crushing.

Ya, I hate metro but I'm not having the problems with prone campers everyone else seems to be having. All you have to do is slow down a bit and it's not that hard to get the drop on them. I guess it just comes from experience of knowing where to look for this kind of thing.

OK just played the conquest map. I am stoked about this game again! That rush map had me doubting, but wow is it fun to dogfight jets and play that huge map.

Only difference between this game and BF2 is the map is uber ready for camping,BF2 was more wide open and there wasn't 100,000 scrubs with someone in them.

Heck i just recalled some guy who was able to jump about 4 feet up into what appeared to be a 4 foot wide by 8 foot long planter with a bush in it prone like you would expect...ran pass that planter and got me in the back...no squad nothing just running from the spawn point :\

I see in your sig you are sporting crossfire 6950s, does crossfire seem to work for you in the beta?

I can confirm that my Crossfire is working, at least according to GPU-Z. Shows 100% load on secondary GPU.

I have loaded the beta drivers.

Funny your tired of that map with BC2 i would play maps like laguana alta and Heavy metal all day long and never be bored.

BF2 some of those maps were catchy too even in a offline mode i can play the same one all day but i feel the same way as you .

Tomorrow unless caspian border comes out it will be a all day heavy metal marathon One of the best helicopter gunners your ever gonna see iv'e been accused of hacking cause i can be that good sometimes

I miss Desert Combat El Alamein. Those were good times. Also, clan matches on DC-73 Easting.

Ok this is dumb. EA is such a useless company. I had this same junk go on with BFBC2 when it was released..

1.Not only do they have ZERO tech support. I spend 3+ hours yesterday trying to talk to them and not a single person.
2. They charged my credit card FOUR times, even though on website they won't charge till it ships.
3. I have no beta access because email confirmation just showed i bought game nothing more.
4. under recent transaction it shows 6 items, none you can click on for details cause you get a server error. lol

I like that they are having server problems, like all the hundreds of betas for other games they could not figure out stuff before. They prob fired those people already so have to start over each time knowing EA.
