What is the point of tabs if you aren't going to keep things open you visit a lot and instead open and close stuff as you go.

I use them to have multiple pages open and going back and forth.

I don't use them as bookmarks that all open upon startup, as it's just as easy to click a bookmark into a new tab as it is to click an existing tab.

Use them how you want, I'm just trying to make suggestions so you don't have to have all those pages loaded all the time to play BF3.

Fair enough, it just sounded like you were saying tabs=bad to me and I was like, wahhh? I love tabs!

People complaining about having to open 3 programs to play the game are being hugely whiny idiots.

All I can say to you is Steam, Ventrilo, Game = Origin, Chome/Firefox/IE, Game.

If you are complaining about the keybinding in a beta you must be insane to think it would be left like that for the release. There is a 90% chance we are playing basically the same beta that they released months ago. Preparing a beta for release takes precious development time and they are not going to waste that time this close to launch making another beta for us to play. We are playing old code, and you are all clueless/crying idiots.

1. The bigger complaint is how you can't access settings unless you are in-game and *alive*. Also why are you comparing Vent to internet browsers?

2. I doubt anyone thinks that keybindings would be left in their unusable state for retail, but they are complaining because it's very annoying nonetheless.

Battlecom or whatever it's called is supposed to have voice chat soon.

You can switch to windowed mode using the web server browser and just pick a new server, and it'll move you over to it. One thing I like about the server browser in valve games is you can queue a server and be playing in another. What would make the web based browser good to use if they added a web browser that works with their overlay like Steam has. Then you could open the server browser in your overlay and just disable/enable it when you want to switch servers.

Because one of their browser plugin's replaces ventrilo.

Appletini worked for me, but they it says my connection timed out. I got to fly a jet for about 30 seconds and now it's itme to go to work.

Half these complaints are no brainers and I have no doubt they will be fixed in the final version.

Ok guys I figured out a shortcut method of getting into the game. Simply bookmark battlelog, when you want to game open it up and find a server. This will then open up origin and then bf3 for you, thus no more origin>bf3>battelog. Still have to open all 3 which is something of a waste, but faster this way.

Ok i'm not trolling or going crazy here i went to the nvidia website and went to download drivers out of curiosity.

I see a huge banner for downloading beta drivers for 285.83.

I'm raging with my friends over the stupid name scheme being 285.38 and 285.83.

I post the link to a few people and they see nothing, sure enough the big banner just disappeared.

Is this some sort of joke on nvidias part or are we getting 285.83?

Edit: thinking about it some scholar prob posted that banner with a typo being 285.83 instead of 285.38 and rushed to remove it

Thought it was worth sharing cause i thought it was funny

I swear, the closes I can get to getting into a CB server is "Joining Server" with it just hanging up forever.......They need to just open up a ton of them and let people flood in already damnit. This is what I want to try.

You know, I haven't closed that page since I started playing the beta, or closed my browser. I normally dont close my browser as I have RAM to spare, so I guess it'll just be another tab thats always open.

Same here. Most people are acting like they only have 512mb or ram on their computer and that this is some performance killing catastrophe.

My one major issue with this game is that semi auto snipers appear to be 1 hit kills. That's a big negative on that DICE.

Yeah I had the battlelog tab opened still as well. Didn't noticed, good observation though from Demo24 though.

I game on my workstation, so RAM is very plentiful (16GB :D )

I notice no one has mentioned that you can just bookmark battlelog in your browser and go right to it.

Or better yet, just create a shortcut to battlelog on your desktop. Then you can just double click it. Or even better yet, just pin it to your taskbar on windows 7 :)

Yep. Join a server from there and you don't even have to open Origin as it'll open it for you.

Not always i used the sniper rifle idk if it was a bad hitbox but some guy came running at me about 20 feet away and i shot him twice.

Guy killed me and his killcam registered 40% health status but i do agree iv'e gotten hit a couple times and i end up with 1% and all it would take is a simple hand pistol from a near by enemy and that's it .

The 870 is even worst i think even at a distance cause iv'e used it a few times in BC2 and sometimes even at close range it takes two shots to kill someone as on here sometimes one shot from a distance seems to do it .
