Man it is impossible to join any server thru the server browser,you get the list some servers have 6 people....you join apparently its full and it refresh's with 32/32 LOL so its a refreshing war.

Caspian Border with its two listed servers is nothing short of a cock tease if they don't plan to release the server to the public,it needs to be removed from the list .

The trick is to wait on the "server not found" ones. Just keep on attempting to join it since the server will reset. I did that 3 times this morning with only needing to wait 1-2 min while hammering the password. Just be patient and good things will come.

I don't understand this. Because it was on console it can't have prone? Um? CoD has prone and it is a console game.

With that out of the way, I don't mind the server browser as much as I thought I would. My only real complaint is how it doesn't work with Chrome. I had to install Firefox just to get into a match...

Works fine for me with either browser. Sometimes launching it doesn't quite go right and you have to relaunch from origin for the website to 'see' your game.

I don't like the battlelog browser because I have a 'set' of tabs I like to keep open, which uses a lot of memory, and of course battlelog opens my default browser which just opens all my tabs again. It doesn't seem to drastically effect performance in game, so perhaps it doesn't really matter but it kind of bugs me.

I don't think anyone except DICE knows the new server PW. However I do see some servers that are using the old one. I'm guessing they are starting to look at the telemetry now and seeing if it is good to go for a full scale unlock.

Think the server browser as a whole right now is useless i battle grabbing any server.

They will freaking say 0/32 and when you enter or try to its filled up in a matter of a few short seconds.

I know the demand for a slot is huge but right now as it stands that browser is a joke cause i end up going right back to matchmaker waiting in a queue.

As a whole i hope its freaking removed in the full game cause i hate this 3 way stuff i can see for beta it working with such a huge demand but still its a orgy of clusterfu**ing sh*t .

About 10 mins into every match Ive been in I get this error "connection to the server has timed out" . Anyone else getting this?

Edit: I ran a ping test during the last 2 matches and there was no connection loss.

I use a separate FF profile for BF3 to keep things minimal.

A lot of sites I have opened in tabs I'm only using for some specific stuff that is pretty much only needed once. It is a hell of a lot easier/quicker to have the browser automatically open up and load my 50 ish tabs then to go through and open them up individually or having to remember exactly what I had opened the night before even with bookmarks.


Back to the topic at hand. Thanks for the heads up about the EU servers, I've been spamming them trying to get in for almost 15 mins with no luck grrr

People complaining about having to open 3 programs to play the game are being hugely whiny idiots.

All I can say to you is Steam, Ventrilo, Game = Origin, Chome/Firefox/IE, Game.

If you are complaining about the keybinding in a beta you must be insane to think it would be left like that for the release. There is a 90% chance we are playing basically the same beta that they released months ago. Preparing a beta for release takes precious development time and they are not going to waste that time this close to launch making another beta for us to play. We are playing old code, and you are all clueless/crying idiots.

I got in twice, and it crashed twice as well. lol But I got 30-40 min in which is good enough as I should probably head out to work.

There is a little bit of lag (200ms ping), but you get to check out the map. Like Metro, its hard to spot people sometime when they hide in bushes or on a rock, but in general everyone is on foot running or in a vehicle. Much better than Metro.

Yet another complaint...you hit a tank enough with a engineers rocket, and you see the 100 points, but the tank is then supposedly "disabled", and then they just drive away! I died a couple times chasing after disabled tanks only to be shot by the gunner who jumps out or some dude watching the action.

Right now, what I found is that disabling a vehicle allows it to still move very slowly and turn very slowly (applies to jets and helis too), and it can STILL fire and be repaired. I actually kind of like the game mechanic, but jets and heli auto repair rate is way too fast.

Because I flip back and forth between various tabs to refresh, read, etc, and it would be a gigantic pain in the ass to open a new tab everytime I wanted to read the news, check email, etc.

Allowing some BF veterans who are paying attention into the 64p Caspian servers was the best thing DICE could have done. Mind is blown. This is like getting 5 games in 1, all at once.

Yeah, I noticed the repair was pretty fast, as I repaired my own tank while fighting engineers and I was able to take them all out. BUT (lol) that brings up another complaint...the repair reticule is the same color as the torch light, so its hard to tell if you are repairing or how much you need to do!

Some people get it, some people don't man. I always have about 8 tabs open as well. My buddy always goes crazy on me, he has some OCD compulsion to close his browsers even when his PC is not being shut down.
