Bought LC.

Up nicely since purchased, from 17.89 to 19.35.

While LC is pricey, it does have solid profits and growth. The recent crash was because of projected lower originations due to higher interest rates.

Overall it might be a dog, but relative to other fintechs it looks cheap.

Amazon is 6% lower today vs the tech sector at 2% down.

I bet the words "supply chain issues" get used more than once in their earnings report.

Another 85% to go.

Are you predicting a crash for a change?

Normally I would be cheering a pullback as cheap stocks make for big opportunity . However, this market is a paranoid schizophrenic right now and off its meds. You cant trust it either go up or down with conviction, making it difficult to make money long or short ....unless you daytrade it.

For example, SNAP crashed today following the 27% decline in FB only to go back up 60% IN ONE DAY after hours on "good" earnings.

That is the definition of a schizo market.

For now, Im talking small bites, selling deep calls and settling for small change since you really cant trust stock prices for now. I covered my short calls on PYPL and dumped the stock since it fell below the money I made on the calls.

Today I shorted a few shares of Tesla and am up a whole $100 (better than the casino I guess). Cant go too short on Tesla or it will bite your face off.

I also bought 100 shares of FB at $241 and sold a $230 call expiring tomorrow for $12.60. On the plus side, it could make about $160 max profit if I let it expire tomorrow and they take the shares. On the negative side, I've got downside protection just in case it keeps dropping tomorrow.

Amazon is rocketing right now.

Prime subscription cost is going to go up again. Darn it.

The retail business did even worse this quarter. Really the stock should be tanking. The only reason the Net Income was higher was because they made 11.8 billion in Rivian's IPO. Wall Street is f'ing dumb.

They announced higher prices for PRIME which will add a lot more money. The market rarely trades on fundamentals. Its all about the trend.
