I'm predicting the Pats will get back to the AFC championship game next season.
And they will win it.

Shocking.

I've always been one for bold predictions.

However, the Pats look to be much improved next year. They have a large number of young players in their first or second year who have already played well and should improve.

On the other hand Brady will be 36 and the Pats desperately need at least one deep threat and probably a replacement for Welker. Oh, and they need to resign Talib and/or add one other top DB. With those additions the Pats can go back to the run first, ball control, good defense that won Super Bowls.

the real problem is that they can no longer tape other team practices. I think is what has kept them on their losing streak.

You should make a thread now for next seasons Superbowl champs.

Also, since you mentioned it, Brady is 36. Anyone else but me, when seeing him "run" out of the pocket thought, there has never been a slower white man than that?

Hmmmm...Drew Bledsoe, Kyle Orton, Bears backup QB Todd Collins. All those guys look like they are made of stone when they have to roll out of the pocket.

I'm old enough to remember Ed Kranepool. So, I would say Tom is the second slowest.

Boston news is giving some press for Ray Lewis. 🙂 / lol / bad taste or poor sports, maybe.

Must be nice to get off when you murder someone. This dude murders humans, gets nothing on the murder charges. Vick kills a bunch of dogs, and he spends a few years in prison. I don't understand why people suck lewis's dick, he's a thug and always will be.

I hope the Ravens get an ass whupping.
And I hope Moss doesnt' get a catch.

Moss is the latest in a long line of arrogant, self absorbed players with great talent who use it to abuse the teams they play for. And then when they get old and lose their talents they suddenly become great teammates who work hard and play nice.

A pox on Randy Moss.

Happy I bet the money line on the Ravens (that win seemed inevitable to me; 9 points was absolutely absurd), but very disappointed we have to listen to two more damn weeks of that jackass Ray Lewis and all of his nonsense. I hope the Ravens get utterly devastated by the 49ers, like scorched Earth devastated. Would love to see my man Gore go nuts on them!

I'm the other way. I want 49ers to lose because I hate QB self aggrandizing and Kaepernick's little arm flex bicep kiss is just as bad as Cam Newton's superman thing. And because Jim Harbaugh acted like an absolute child when a review didn't go his way on Sunday. Also because I'm a Falcons fan and had we not made constant mistakes in the second half then the 49ers would never have even made it a close game.

I would be pissed, too, because that was so obviously a wrong call. especially considering the ref had the benefit of the video, which just about anyone could see was a dropped ball.

considering the way many coaches have acted in the past and continue to act, and this is the only reason to criticize Harbaugh, I think I'll stick with him... (btw--not a Niners fan)

Ah, ok, I see the problem here. You don't know how the rules of a catch in football work. You see, it's actually fine in the NFL if a call touches the ground so long as the ground does not assist in the catch. Now if you watch the catch you'll see that he never loses possession of the ball and his hand is underneath it the entire time. The only time the ball touches the ground is after his hand was solidly underneath the ball with clear possession. That, if the rules of the NFL are followed, would be called a catch every time.

And you didn't see Mike Smith pitching an almighty fit for calls like the roughing the passer that wasn't or the refs missing the blatant defensive holding on the 4th down play to Roddy White at the end of the game.

Eh, that doesn't look like a catch to me http://i.imgur.com/y8I3aZx.jpg
The ground clearly assists him.

Not sure how anyone could think that looked like a catch. I would have been pissed too.

Were you watching the right game?
