And you didn't see Mike Smith pitching an almighty fit for calls like the roughing the passer that wasn't or the refs missing the blatant defensive holding on the 4th down play to Roddy White at the end of the game.

Don't even go there with mike smith. That stupid fuck looks like a damn gorilla on the sidelines. Once the Falcons can his ass, I could root for the falcons.

<snip>

Also because I'm a Falcons fan and had we not made constant mistakes in the second half then the 49ers would never have even made it a close game.

Dude. Falcons barely squeaked by Seahawks who many considered a better team: a tired team that flown coast to coast (back & forth) for the game. Despite not playing well 1st half and really poor decision not to kick field goals (two missed opportunities) still managed a comeback in the 2nd half. Factor in the 30 sec blown coverage by defense and misjudged Pete Carrol's timeout call prior to the final FG, it's hard not to consider luck for the Falcons to even make it pass the 1st round. Unfortunately, there's only so much luck to go around.

It was really Pete Carrol's hubris which resulted in a Falcon win.

BTW, the last time 49ers flown coast to coast and landed in Seattle, they got annihilated whereas Seattle can play a closer game with them on the road. If you wanted a better match up with 49ers, it was the Seahawks not the Falcons.

Come on, you didn't SERIOUSLY think the Falcons were going to beat the 49ers, did you? The Niners just took a little while to spin up. The only amazing thing about the Falcons this year is that they didn't lose to Seattle and frankly, they deserved to lose that one.

I'm the other way. I want 49ers to lose because I hate QB self aggrandizing and Kaepernick's little arm flex bicep kiss is just as bad as Cam Newton's superman thing. And because Jim Harbaugh acted like an absolute child when a review didn't go his way on Sunday. Also because I'm a Falcons fan and had we not made constant mistakes in the second half then the 49ers would never have even made it a close game.

did the Seahawks really fly from WAS to ATL via Seattle?

Must be nice to get off when you murder someone. This dude murders humans, gets nothing on the murder charges. Vick kills a bunch of dogs, and he spends a few years in prison. I don't understand why people suck lewis's dick, he's a thug and always will be.

Is it really this difficult to spend 5 minutes and educate yourself on the facts?

If you are fine with a murderer, then so be it. I mean he probably took out two thugs just like himself so maybe we should embrace him for his humanity work.

You're a braindead idiot who's spewing slanderous shit about an incident that you know nothing about.

Ray Lewis was never convicted of murdering anyone and the case against him was pathetic. Prosecutors had no evidence at all. But hey, baseless charges are the same thing as a conviction, right?

Oh, I forgot, OJ didn't do it either...If the glove don't fit, you gotta acquit

Seriously man, educate yourself. You're a steelers fan and you hate ray lewis and the ravens, I totally get that. But you're just making yourself look silly.

Here you go... http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/47958/remembering-the-ray-lewis-controversy

I understand you were probably in your early teen years when this all went down so you don't recall alot of it. Yeah, let's settle with the victims families since he was so innocent.

People settle civil suits like that all the time. It's simple economics. Ray was obviously hanging out with the wrong kinds of people. He realized that and turned his life around. He probably knows what happened, but that doesn't mean he committed murder.

I guess you and the rest of Steeler nation know more about the case than the prosecutor that decided to drop the murder charges. This is so old and played out, give it a rest already.

Edit - Did you even read the link you posted? Can you please quote whatever it is in that link that makes you think Ray Lewis stabbed someone?

Any questions?

That was hilarious. Pollard was going for a shoulder tackle, Ridley lowers his head to hit with his helmet and knocks himself the F out. Ravens get the ball, touchdown. Earlier Brady tried to take a cheap kick at Ed Reed, got the first down but had to settle for a field goal. I guess the post-Spygate Pats just can't leverage the little stuff like they used to.

Matt Ryan doesn't fumble that snap, 49ers don't win. Roddy White doesn't fall causing Matt's interception, 49ers probably don't win. Harry Douglas doesnt trip over his own feet on the catch that was reviewed, there was no one near him and he runs into the end zone, 49ers don't win. The refs actually decide to call the defensive holding on 4th down, 49ers don't win. The 49ers benefitted from mistakes the Falcons made that were flukes (and one bad call, we'll let the contested catch offset the roughing the passer that wasn't). Any one of those doesn't happen, the 49ers don't win. The only reason the 49ers are in the Super Bowl is because the Falcons couldn't stop shooting themselves in the foot.

You think it's funny a player was knocked out? Regardless of the actions taken by Reed or Ridley, it is not funny. SunnyD needs to take back what he was saying how Ravens fans were classy ...

Because the Falcons didn't ANYTHING going for them that game huh?
49er's make the FG, Mike doesn't fumble at the 1in line, the challenge gets over turned to a incomplete pass. It's pretty easy to do this all day.

The field goal from a kicker who was not a sure thing kicker (29 of 42 on the season), but yes it's 3 points lost. The fumble was a forced fumble, not a screwed up play by the runner, and the challenge wouldn't have affected anything because that drive resulted in no points (hence why the roughing the passer that wasn't offsets it because that drive also resulted in no points).

People should learn from the Roddy White school the art of pushing off without getting penalized. Do not fully extend your arms.

The CB jumped the route that, and even if Roddy White doesn't fall down, I think it's still a pick. He is able to turn his body, but seems to slip trying to go for the ball, which is very much on his inside shoulder. The DB had much better position to make the play regardless.

If Julio Jones doesn't push off on half his catches, then Falcons still lose.

If 49ers don't blow a coverage, then Jones isn't wide open for a TD, and Falcons still lose.

If Crabtree secures the ball better, then they score another TD easy, and Falcons still lose.

If Ryan throws the ball just a few inches off, then Goldson gets a pick instead of Julio Jones making an unbelievable grab across the middle. And the Falcons still lose.

You think any ref calls it PI when there's that kind of contact within 5 yards, especially at the end of a game?

I could go on, but it's kind of tiring when the outcome doesn't change and the Falcons lose. But don't worry, if you think the 49ers were so lucky, the Falcons will have their revenge next year.
