heat gone. if mavs are gone, it'd be an awesome free-for-all playoffs. (as in free for bulls pistons suns and spurs really, unless the warriors are going to keep up with this run)
then again with the way they play, even if mavs make it to 2nd round they wont last long.

Wow, this was the first time the previous year NBA champion had been swept in the first round since 1957. :Q

side note: kobe is going to want the lakers to make a big off season acquisition...can they get KG? If KG wants out, can the Lakers put a package together which would work out salary-wise? It'll definitely have to involve Odom...who else, I don't know.

Lakes don't have much that'll take to get KG.
Several other teams in the NBA can make a much better offer.

If the Wolves Trade KG, they'll also want to shed one of their bad contracts. And get multiple draft picks + a young stud + highly rated rookies.

I've heard KG wants to come to LA (he phoned Kobe about it). The real question is whether the Lakers can put together and attractive package. I have no qualms about trading Lamar+Kwame, but I don't think their stock is worth nearly enough to acquire KG. The Lakers desperately need a PG and a second-option for offense.

I tip my hat to the Suns though, they are playing amazing basketball and it's really been fun to watch Nash. It'll be interesting to see how they do against the best defensive team in the league, San Antonio.

i rather Lakers get J O'Neal than KG, O'Neal can be a center.

Golden State is making all the big plays down the stretch, on offense and on defense, while Dallas is getting the ball stolen, travelling, shooting air balls.

Edit: Another big shot by Golden State. I think that's game!

Warriors just want it more. they are the hungrier team barely making the playoffs against the Clippers.
Meanwhile the mavs probably are underestimating this young team. I hope GSW at least make it to the WCF if/when they get rid of the Mavs. Houston/Utah won't be easy though.

It's strange, even though GS is up 3-1 I don't think Dallas is out of this at all. They need to start playing with some fire though if they want to stay alive.

i feel the same way. werent the suns down 3-1 against the lakers last year? and I remember a few years ago mcgrady and the magic were the 8th seed, up 3-1 against detroit, only to get crushed in the next 3 games.
