I think the fault of the ratings is moreso on the cavs than on the spurs. If they were a real challenge and if this were a real series, more people would've watched.
 
Isn't lebron the media darling of the NBA? Maybe if everyone knew that the cavs had no chance in hell that's why no one tuned in? Plus San Antonio is such a small market, why would most of the country care? I think the only finals with the spurs that people watched were in 1999 against the knicks. But the mavs/heat series didn't exactly break records either.

Or better yet unlock it and let it quickly fall to the swampy depths of the forum archives to be retired and never revived again. 😉
