I think GS will take it, though. I have never been high on Don Nelson, but I think he has to get a lot of credit for this one. Who but Nelson would amp his players by saying "we're just happy to be here?" Nobody says that in their right mind, but DN knew that his players would take it as a challenge. They're pride was hurt that their coach didn't believe in them after they'd beaten the Mavs so many times recently. The death blow is coming. Where they go after this, I don't know, but I'm not going to underestimate Don Nelson. No, he's never won a championship but he definitely has something. He's a players' coach. GS are a peculiar team right now and they are on a roll. We'll see where it goes.

Seeing as he didn't have championship caliber teams for most of the teams he coached, I wouldn't expect Nelson to have many rings as a coach.

I think part of the reason for Don Nelson's success is that he is playing against his old team. He trained Avery into the coach he is today, and he knows all of Dirk's weaknesses. This is the perfect matchup for him as a coach, he knows exactly what to do to disrupt the Mavericks.

I had a feeling the Nuggets would pull through. Nuggets in 6.

The Spurs played like absolute sh!t, and still had a chance to pull it out with 20 seconds left. They will win the series 4-1.

Fo shizzle. One more to go.

Tough loss for the Nuggz, don't think they'll rebound from this. If the Mavs lose to the Warriors, I don't see anyone stopping the Spurs from winning yet another championship. Weeeeee

Warriors arent as bad as you all think. Beating the mavs is a BIGGG thing. But if they beat the mavs, they do have a chance of beating other teams. everyone is pretty much counting them out. I dont see the Spurs winning it all again, Suns are too damn fast and athletic for them.

Bulls vs Warriors in the final: Now that would be a hell of a matchup to see

Go Bulls!

Can't wait for the Bulls-Pistons matchup. I remember the good ol' days when Isaiah Thomas and Bill Lambier and Dennis Rodman of the Bad Boys Pistons sent MJ and the Bulls home every year in a thriller from the playoffs, till the Bulls finally got even!

Da Bulls!

i'd really like to see it go 6 - we have the Relay for Life on Friday and we've been using a projector to throw up the Spurs games for the past 2 years... we always draw a big crowd to our area.

I just hope the Bulls can carry the momentum and whoop the pistons' ass. They match up very well to the Pistons if Luol Deng can still keep it up.

Match up well?? I don't see them able to handle both Weber and Rasheed if they actually play on the block. Plus, Miami wasn't exactly at full steam- they were running on fumes all series against the Bulls. If Detroit executes a good perimiter defense then the Bulls will lose-plain and simple- they can't score down low. It'll be 3 against 5 on offense. I love Ben Wallace, but you know you can't depend on him to score big points every night.

Detroit in 6.

yup, bulls rely too much on the jumper...thats the only reason i dont see them beating detroit. but deng and the guards are playing really well. it'll be a great series.

even losing the Nets must have put the fear of god in the hearts of the Raptors.

hahahaha, raptors have no chance in NJ. how can they blow such a big lead and end up winning by only 2?
