I will take my "brain defect" over having to constantly reword what comes out of our dear leaders mouth so you can continue to have faith in everything he says.

We've covered this aspect of your brain defect before. We reword because you can't follow the original. It needs rewording only because of that. Then when we reword for you, your brain defect goes "gotcha". Your like a snake eating its tail, round and round you go in circles. You drive rational people crazy because you are blind to the fact your thinking is defective. That IS the defect. Just accept it. You won't die.

You reword so you won't have to face the parts of his speech you don't like. That way you don't have to face the fact the guy at the podium your worship so devotedly is a bumbling hate filled moron.

Anyone else realize that American conservatives always say that "moderate Muslims need to condemn radical Islamic terrorists!", despite the fact that it's something they already do. And then when those American conservatives are confronted with something horrible their religion did, they are all up in arms like you're attacking them. The hypocrisy here is amazing. The President's statement about getting up on a high horse was accurate. American conservative Christians think that Christianity can and has never done any wrong, but if you confront them with the wrong they've done you're attacking them. And then they want to call all followers of Islam terrorists. And Matt1970 is perfectly epitomizing everything wrong with American conservative Christians.

Notice the verb tenses...?

Yay! Let's forgive the atrocities happening today by bringing up the comparatively-smaller atrocities of someone else many hundreds of years ago!

Genius! 😀

Exactly, American conservative Christians can't even accept the atrocious things done in the past by their religion because in their own eyes they're perfect. Talk about needing to get down off a fucking high horse! Whereas Muslim groups are constantly condemning acts past and present done by groups in the name of their religion. It would be nice if Christians in America could be more humble like Muslims.

Except that at no point is anyone trying to forgive any atrocities. And if you want to go with more recent atrocities, Bosnian genocide committed by Christians against Muslims in the 90's, Catholics molesting and covering it up for decades, abortion clinic bombings. Christianity is not immune from creating monsters and Christians in America need to stop thinking they're perfect and Islam creates only monsters. No one was ever attacking Christianity here and the point is that you can't attack an entire religion for the acts of zealots who don't represent but a tiny percentage.

Addendum: I now AM attacking Christianity in here because I realize that there are people in this thread forgiving atrocities. Christians. A majority of the Christians in this thread are forgiving the atrocities committed in the name of their religion because it hurts them to admit they occurred. If you look through this thread you can find example after example of Christians denying anything bad happened or forgiving it because it happened anytime more recently than 2015. So I'm calling on Christians to condemn the acts committed in the name of their clearly violent religion.

Christians need to be put in their place and we can't have them walking around on their high horse now can we? This has got to stop!

...except Christians DO condemn all of these examples and are not only denounced by the church at large, but also prosecuted by the law.

To turn the focus on these comparatively-few actions (that no one is denying or forgiving in the first place) in order to avoid discussion of the larger atrocity is deflection.

Where in here is "example after example of Christians denying anything bad happened"?

So this existential threat of the Obozo administration tried to use the crusades as a sorry ass excuse for radical Islam. Obozo won't even call it radical Islam! And the fucking crusades were about defending against Muslims! Here's a history lesson. http://www.crisismagazine.com/2011/the-real-history-of-the-crusades

I just wonder if this Indonesian transformed idiot still thinks there are 57 states?

Sorry you went through all the trouble to link that stuff you know damn well none of that is denying anything bad happened.

Horseshit.

Nobody is forgiving atrocities by anyone here except, possibly, you.

The very words, "muslims killed more" that you allude to requires that other religions have also killed to be true.

The forgiving or ignoring of christian (or other religion) atrocities is simply not happening.

...but then you'll try every trick in the book to not have to answer the question you don't want to hear the answer to, eh?

I am not surprised. In their world all you have to do is show someone did something worse at some point in time and they can excuse anything. It's how they keep their love for Obama.

Again, I don't think you fully understood his words. It seems you selectively listened to it for something to be outraged at.

Obama never excused any acts of violence. His argument was singularly to those throwing stones at all Muslims.

I would think you would be able to parse the distinction.

Obama 2015:0206- "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"

I see you selectively decided to dodge my question.
